We got rain today but I don't think it was very much. And I haven't been out to check the rain gauge today so I don't really know. According to the forecast it is supposed to start raining about 5:00 am tomorrow morning I guess as Tropical Storm Hanna gets close to land fall. Way far south. Almost to the boarder but still mostly in Texas. I think one of the outer rain bands moved over today. Got really windy and a bit of rain but didn't last long. So far south that mostly all we are going to get out of Hanna is rain. Of course parts of this area flood with a heavy dew. So hopefully enough rain but not too much. Tropical Storm Gonzalo is still out there but all the spaghetti models now show it moving on shore in Central America and not even entering the Gulf.

It looks like another big cloud of Saharan dust is over the Atlantic and on its way. And this one does look big. So have to be ready for another few days of haze. Does keep the storms down. Don't really know when it is going to get here. I will be following it.

Not an eBay day today but still have a few things yet to get here. Also no incense today. Twist was a brief lap cat. Fozzy may stop by latter and take up residence there.

Gold did move about $1900 an ounce today. Kind of up up and away. It hasn't been long at all since it rose above $1800 an ounce. Crude is just kind of staying where its at. I did notice that gas price had edge up just a bit. I saw it was $1.79 today. I think it was just a penny lower yesterday.

No project work today. Got to try something else on my fun project. I think I need to add more power to get the result I want. I can rewire my system to get that but just to see if it works.

Don't think I am going to put out recyclables tonight and wait until tomorrow morning just encase the expect rain brings with it some high winds. I do want it all to stay in the bin. I do have more that a full bin. Residual to go soon.

Today was cheese sandwich day and I did enjoy my cheese sandwich. Still not using white bread. I do like the way it taste on wheat.

I hope Ashley found her wicks. Lehman's is always a good place to search for items like that. They tend to have very unique items that just can't be found anywhere else. I would love to get one of their French Alps lanterns that uses a round wick but they are out of stock at the moment and I probably don't need another lamp. So for now I guess I will just want one.

I have two Lincoln Drape Lanterns that I just use to heat my office sometimes. I do have mantels for them that produces a lot of light but don't really need them if all I want to do is to heat my office. And they really do a good job of that. Kerosene. And a lot of other kerosene lanterns.

Probably need to make another batch of soap soon. I think I am good on all the ingredients. Don't really know where I can get sodium hydroxide locally. Use to get it at one of the hard ware stores. But I can order it on line. Well, it does seem like I can also order it through Walmart and Home Depot. At the moment I think I have enough for a couple more batches.

No premium channel free preview this weekend. Still have my CBS All Access and plenty of Star Trek to watch.

July 30th and 31st look like good rocket launching days. Both a Falcon 9 and an Atlas are scheduled to go.

Upgraded my Linux machine to version 20. I guess a major upgrade. Took a while but I got it done. Everything still seems to work too.

Texted with Gary. Mostly weather.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
