Add another day to the ones with no rain. Nothing at all today. There were a few more clouds than there was yesterday but still no rain. Just a bit warm but it looks like things are going to cool off a bit. The rain chance that was there on Friday has fallen to just the normal chance for rain. Next week though is looking good for some rain. Supposedly this high pressure dome is going to move off of us. Maybe the drop in daily temperature is a sign of that. Looks like the pan handle once again got some storms. That area has all kinds of weather terms for the chance of hail and tornadoes. Don't hear them at all down here.

Nothing for our viewing pleasure on the National Hurricane Center's map. Just blank execpt for the map of course.

Crude and gold story. I think crude may have beaten its last recent high but can't be by more than just a few cents. Still like watching the crude market but it still has a ways to go. And to think at one point just how high crude was. Gold looks like it stayed above $1800 an ounce for most of the day. I had to run an errand today and was going to check the gas price but completely forgot. So that is going to have to wait. Thought I might be able to see some stations on the traffic cams. Well, I did check a few good candidates but I couldn't see the gas prices on them. I will try to remember next time out.

I think the Bellmead station is still not working. Checked Plugshare. Gary charged in Corsicana and with some less demanding driving managed to make it all the way back to Houston without having to charge again. His trip computer is tied into the Tesla charges and can tell him based on his destination if he needs to stop and where to stop if he needs to charge. One day I might try to make it to my relatives house in Mississippi. I guess I could take my new inverter generator and charge my car on that. It does have enough power to charge at 12 amps. My car showed a range of 245 miles today even at 90% charge. Really don't know how that is calculated. Something based on the previous driving. Could be and I guess they do have some method for that.

The H-2A rocket launch was also postponed. Seems to be the trend. But was rescheduled to the 16th at about the same time. Got to keep trying because I find it fun to watch them launch and I do have a site to watch it live. Not the Star Link mission but the other Falcon 9 launch is now going to be on the 19. Still going to watch for it.

Nothing from eBay today and no project work. Should have some items in before the weekend and can do a little more project work.

Did add a item to my HEB order. Still have a few more days to add if I can think of something I need or missed.

Still wondering about my work computer. I guess the company has an agreement to still support Windows 7 but I wonder just how much longer that is going to last. Well, I am pretty sure they aren't going to buy anymore windows 7 machines at all. And at some point all support is probably going to end. I guess they could load Windows 10 on my machine. Should be plenty good to support it but I don't know if they can do it remotely or not. I use it for a lot of stuff.

No lap cat yet. Fozzy is usually a late night participant so he might join me later. And no incense today.

Just heard birds outside earlier in the day.

Twist did become a lap cat.

I did take a look at the Galveston cams today. Been a thing now.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
