Of course no rain today.

Hot and clear today. I think it hit the hottest day of the Summer today and no rain. I think airports refer to this weather as severe clear. Tomorrow is going to be fractionally cooler. Oddly enough the forecast has changed to show a decent chance of rain on Friday. Just seemed to come out of no where. And a few days next week have decent chances of rain too. Looking at the radar it looked like and still looks like the pan handle is getting decent rain. But they can get tornadoes and really big hail in that area too. I noticed that my home town had 105°F today. Don't know if that was the high but was the temperature when I checked it. That area is a good bit drier though.

National Hurricane Center map. Nothing, nothing, nothing. Always got to check it though. Things do get a bit crazy around here if a storm is on the way. And have to prepare.

I did put together another HEB order tonight and in the way of being prepared I did order the right type of motor oil. What I had wasn't good for this temperature. Going to be delivered on Friday. Have to conserve my bread to have cheese sandwich Friday. And as usual I can still add items if I can think of them. Mostly only one or two items though. Still have a few days to think about.

Now for the crude and gold report. I see gold is oscillating both above and below $1800 an ounce. Right now it is below. Still really high. Don't know if it will get and stay above. Crude oil is down but only by a little. Doesn't seem to move just whole lot here recently. Got to run an errand tomorrow so I will see if I can spot a gas price.

Nothing from eBay today. Kind of rare event based on my eBay record.

And the Falcon 9 launch I was expecting tomorrow has been delayed until I don't know when along with the Falcon 9 Star Link Mission. Keep checking the schedule but no updates yet. Still enjoy watching them. Going to be another launch of a foreign rocket but I don't know if I can watch it live. Well, with just some Google help I can watch it live. The time set for launch is just before 5:00 pm Eastern Daylight time which makes it about 4:00 pm our time. Never watched this one launch before.

Lawn service came today. Mostly do come on Monday but sometime they do come on Tuesday also. Got the lawn taken care of. Always good.

Got project parts on the way and I found a few parts I can use too. Got to check out in my shop because I might have something else useful. Got basically every thing else I need though. Just not a very useful project but something for fun and to see if it works.

Cleaned up the kitchen and loaded the dishwasher. Did a load of whites yesterday. Now just to fold and put away.

Watched My favorite game show tonight, The Wall. Finally found out it is on Monday nights. kind of a fun show to watch.

Fozzy is making a late night lap cap appearance. Twist was earlier in the day. No incense today.

Tomorrow is the run off election. Going to try to check the results.

Think I heard a gecko outside earlier tonight. Don't seem to hear them very often or maybe just not listening at the right times.

Text from Gary today and I think I might have taken a glance at the Galveston web cams. Not sure but I think I did. His Waco supercharging station still seems to be down. Interesting to look at the Plugshare map. More and more are opening.
