Like a broken record lately. No rain.

No rain. Not expected and none really in the forecast for another week or so. Going to be dry and warm at least tomorrow. After that it does cool off some. At least it is further away from the Century mark. Any little bit helps. Probably put the sprinkler out on the front yard a little this week. Probably going to need it if we don't get something like an afternoon type heat shower. I did see some showers in the panhandle again but like I said yesterday that is a long way from here. Don't think I saw anything on radar around here. I know the radar can give false returns and look like rain where there really isn't. Don't really know the hows of whys that works.

Like yesterday too the National Hurricane Center's map doesn't show anything about to happen or happening. Always got to check it though. It is the season.

I think crude and gold are trading now. I don't really know when the markets opened and closed but gold is back up above $1800 an ounce. Crude doesn't seem to be moving much at all. Has been about the same for the last several days. Don't know if the Libyan crude coming back into the market has had any impact.

Kind of finished a fun to do project today. I really didn't have all the parts for it but they are on order courtesy of being able to find anything on eBay. Just used what I had and kind of finished about 80% of the project. Does work but needs just a little more. So more is on order.

Probably have to start another HEB order tomorrow. So very glad they have delivery service and if I really need something I can get it through Favor.

The Falcon 9 Star Link Mission has yet to be rescheduled. I couldn't find anything on their website about it. Looks like the launch scheduled for July 14th is still on. Try to watch that one. At 5:00 pm Eastern Daylight time so 4:00 pm here.

Watched a little of Star Trek on CBS All Access tonight. Haven't checked to see if Barn Wood Builders is still having new episodes.

No lap cat participant today. Still a chance though of a late night visitation. And no incense today.

Just took a brief look at the Galveston web cam. Dark there now.

Lawn care company usually comes tomorrow. Sometimes on Tuesday. They do a good job of taking care of my lawn.

Probably need to drive the truck again.

I think early voting is over. I think the run off elections arethis Tuesday. I have already voted by mail. Set up so all my voting now will be by mail.
