The dust I think was finally here as it sure looked hazy today which I have to assume was the dust. No rain today but I did see what looked like a few isolated showers on the radar although none seemed close to here. Doesn't look like much in the way of rain chance until next Sunday but as usual around here there can always be that afternoon shower. Radar didn't show many of them today. The highs look like they are going to be moderate though so that will be nice.

Nothing showing as far as tropical cyclones. Looks like the Saharan dust is going to swirl around in the gulf for a few days before going away. So still in for some more dust.

I think I saw that gas price was $1.89 tonight in a few places. Crude has fallen back just a little though. Still going to be watching it. Put my car on charge tonight. I only use the house hold current charger so it charges at 8 amps. I do have the option to switch to 12 amps and the circuits in the garage should handle it just fine but charging at 8 amps works well so I think I am just going to do that. It translates into about 4 miles of range per hour of charge. So for a full day of 24 hour charging I would get 96 miles. For the most part I rarely need that much to reach my 90% charge level.

Firework sales have started and I saw one go off tonight. I haven't heard any yet. So it has been pretty quiet outside. It does vary from year to year.

My HEB order is for tomorrow. I think I have added about two other items. Still have tonight to think of any more but at the moment I can't think of any.

The mosquito spraying service is coming on Monday. Good timing because I think it needs it. Don't really know how often they come but with all the rain we have had this week it probably is going to be needed. Does seem to work.

Nothing in the way of eBay today. And no lap cat user today either. And adding to all that no incense today.

The Falcon 9 didn't launch today. Well, that was yesterday and I think I have already talked about it. Still no time posted for it for another launch try. Just have to keep checking. Now the next Falcon 9 launch is on June 30th but a different rocket. And on July 3 there is going to be another Electron launch. Same type of service as the Falcon but a smaller rocket. Still fun to watch it launch.

Looked at the Galveston cam from Murdock's Bath House today. It looked very busy. Gary was there on Friday and said it wasn't that busy for a Friday. He has business down there occasionally so I think he would know. Texts exchanged too.

Cleaned up the kitchen today and ran a load through the dishwasher. Need to put them up. Also did a load of whites tonight and hung up all my T-shirts. Cleaned a little in the bathroom too. Just the everyday things that need to get done. Probably going to have enough for a plastic recycle next week. But since that falls on July 4th I don't know if they will be picking up. No mail service for sure.

Lots of political phone calls ahead of the run off election. And even a few polls to press numbers for.

Probably going to get my new rain gauge on Monday. At least it looks that way. Doesn't look like it will get much use at least in the short term. Maybe something next Sunday.

I do have my computer working on anther BOINC project since SETI@home is no longer sending out work units.

Watching the gold price too. Look like it might have set another high. Did take a bit of a dip this week.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
