Got a good bit of rain today in two separate occasions. Rained fairly heavy both times. I saw a map of rainfall totals for today but didn't have a chance to see this area. So I don't know how much rain we got. I guess I could go to the air port site and see but I really don't understand how to read the rainfall total posted there. So I guess I just have to say I don't know how much rain we got. Gary said that he got a downpour. It had pretty much been a drought where he lived. Things changed today. Tomorrow and the rest of the week looks like rain too. That is what the Weather Channel is saying.
Now to look at the tropics and see if there is anything going on. That one little disturbance moving north east up the coast has been given a higher chance of cyclone formation. Don't see anything else of interest there based on the National Hurricane center map.
I think today's choice of incense was vanilla but don't really remember. I think I actually burned two but most have not been paying much attention because I don't remember.
Still being entertained by watching Galveston live cams. Today was father's day and I saw that Galveston got rain too. Don't know how much or if it reduced the crowd down there.
Don't know if there was a Barn Wood Builders tonight. I'll check. Yes, there was a Barn Wood Builders on tonight. I just caught a little of the PGA tournament scanning through the channels that was somewhere. I think they were having thunder or rain so they stopped play and switched to the 2019 tournament. Watched that just a little. I'm not sure but I think there was a major horse race today. Don't know.
Twist was the partial lap cat today. Never fully made it into my lap.
Didn't watch any of the ring of fire eclipse. Must have been some sight to see but not visible from here.
The next launch of the Falcon 9 is going to be on June 23 which would make it this Tuesday. I think so. And it is at a watchable time in the evening. Now to remember if I can. I really enjoy watching them launch. Growing up during the space race I was always interesting in the space program.
Need to put my car on charge. Better go do that. OK. My car is charging.
Folded and put away a load of whites. Got that done.
Cleaned up the kitchen and run the dishwasher. Just about a full load. I guess if I would have have a few more items I could have squeezed them in but I put everything in.
Brought my trash bin in today. Normally let it set outside for a day or two.
Seems like just about every day I get something in from eBay. Didn't know that Federal Express delivered on Sunday. I know that the United States Postal Service does for some kinds of packages. Don't know what they are but I have gotten Sunday delivery from them.
At the moment I still have the high bid in the Museum of Natural Science auction. They send me a text message if I have been outbid. If I win this one it will be the first time I have won an item that I wasn't the only bidder.
Haven't been on any virtual visits lately. Now that I know how to find them I should go more.
