No rain here but looking at the radar there were showers around. Don't think any happened close to here though. Out west along the Texas Mexico boarder looks like it is getting some rain tonight. The rain chance for Saturday has just about gone away. Still some just like any day here. However, the rain chance for Sunday is starting to look like a sure thing and Monday has a high chance too. Nothing in the tropics. Probably the two that were there have died out or moved inland.
Today I remembered what incense I burned. Today's was vanilla. And just the one. Some days get two but today was just the one.
Cut up my soap today in to bar sized items. Now to let it set for the next three weeks or so. Actually until I run out of the soap I already have on hand how ever long that may be. I guessing it will be longer than three weeks though. Loaded the dishwasher and let a run go through but it was full so I still have some that wouldn't fit. Still have to unload it though.
Cleaned off my project table for the most part and decided not to do one project. Was going to take a ton of time and a lot effort to finish it. Just decided that in the end it would be nice but just to much work to go forward on it. Put away a lot of the tools that had accumulated. Table does look cleaner now. It had massed a lot of tools from various projects.
Played some more with my projector. I think I may have found just the perfect place to set it up. Even with the less than idea screen. And I think I can leave it in place. Set up once and it stays. Don't have much in the way of input at the moment. Using an HD TV receiver at the moment. Lacking an HDMi cable but the quality over video is still good.
I haven't heard any geckos the last several nights. Really I just heard the one that night not too long ago but haven't heard any since. Don't know why.
Gathered up some paper used for packing and put it in my paper recycle box. That takes much longer to fill than my plastics. Going to put out a plastic/metal cans bin this Friday pretty much full. I do combine my plastics and metal cans. Mostly the aluminum cat food cans.
Twist was the lap cat for today. Loves to climb into my lap and enjoy the attention. Some times just for that and sometimes for a nice long nap.
I have been watching more of CBS all access particularly Star Trek Discovery. Just not as much as the first time when I binge watched. Now it is much more leisure.
Haven't made any virtual trips in the past couple of days although with a little search I have found plenty of places to visit. I did mention the cameras all around the coast in Galveston. Kind of fun to watch them.
My HEB delivery is scheduled for tomorrow. Just have tonight to add any items I can think of that I might need but at the moment nothing comes to mind. I have added a couple of items and now that I think about it I need to check something. Well, maybe next time. HEB is usually very good about that. Substitutions have been minimal as of late.
I did notice that the gas prices looks like it has dropped about 4 cents a gallon. I think before it was if I remember right $1.79. Today I believe I saw it at the same place for $1.75. Crude price is down somewhat from its recent high. Gold looks to be down somewhat from its high. Silver seems like it has gone up. Don't watch it very closely.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
