Rain around but none here.

Looks like there were a lot of scattered showers around the area. Some close, some far but I don't think we got any rain at all. Still the next best chance of rain is going to be this Saturday and possibly for the next few days after that.

There is some kind of disturbance off the cost of South Carolina but the National Hurricane Center says it is just going to move inland and bring a lot of rain. No development into any kind of named storm. Outside of that it doesn't look like much is going on. Still, storms can pop up.

No text back and forth from Gary today. Some days are dark but most of them we do exchange emails.

Burned some vanilla and I think it was a jasmine type of day today as far as incense goes. I know I burned two sticks but outside of the vanilla I am not sure what the other one was as I just tend to select the scent in real time.

Did some project worked today outside of just cleaning the kitchen and doing some vacuuming. I made a mount for a little LED project and made it work again. Going to use it as kind of a night light. Runs on an old lead acid battery I have. Should run for a long time on that. And today I started another batch of soap. Got plenty of supplies at the moment so I just thought I would make another batch. Straighten up my project table a bit too. Tends to get really cluttered in a hurry if I don't watch it.

Today's lap cat participant was Twist. Seems like he is way ahead of Fozzy in that department.

Paid some bills today. Just see the mail and go find out what I owe.

The lawn service came today. Usually early in the morning but this time sometime after lunch.

Put in another HEB delivery order tonight. I noticed that they have dropped the ten item add in limit. Coming on Thursday so I have time to add a few item if I think of them. So very convenient to have that service.

Nothing really for my viewing pleasure tonight. I tend to listen to Sirius XM a lot though. Like the adult contemporary channel.

Probably going to have enough plastic in my recycle bin to put it out this Friday. Filling up quickly.

Probably need to drive the truck some soon. Don't like to let is set too long.

I think that will do it for tonight.

Scattered showers all around but none here.

I watched the radar today and saw just a lot of scattered thundershower around the area but I don't think any of them came close to here. Looks like the chance of rain has gone down for Saturday and gone up for the next two days. And of course a quick check of the tropics. Something just off the coast of South America. Only a 10% chance of developing in the next 5 days. And another storm off the coast of North Carolina looks like it is bringing the area a lot of rain.

Already forgotten which fragrance of incense that I burned today. Don't have any plan outside of I just pick one that feels right for that day. But I did burn one. And with the trusty strike anywhere matches.

Sorted and put away my laundry. Except for my hang ups.

Worked on a couple of different projects today. Well, one really shouldn't be classified as a project because I do that one all the time. I made another batch of soap today and have it finishing in its "oven". It has to be keep a little warm to make soap and then after about 24 hours I take it out and cut it into bars. To be safe I have to let these sit for another three weeks to make sure the soap is done and safe to use. I only make a reduced batch now. Less than I use to make. Just easier to make smaller batches. Just have to make them more often.

My other project was more of something to play with. I painted the bad side of the left overs of a sheet of plywood white. Don't know how old or how long it has been setting around in the garage but I decided to use it to make another screen for my projector. Not the best paint job but I used what I had. Just wanted to play a bit. So I tested it in my Living room and not big enough. So a couple more places which did fine but my Raspberry Pi is just a little bit under powered to handle CBS all access. My work computer uses display port and not HDMI so I can't use that. At one time I had an adapter but I gave that back the last time I retired.

Still thinking about building my light sequencer but I need to build a box for it and just much too hot in the shop to do that. Thought about buying a case that would work but just can't seem to find one and really no rush on this project. Might just mock it up first in CAD. (cardboard aided design)

My HEB order will be here on Thursday. Getting kind of slim for dinner. Still good on breakfast and lunch.

Next Falcon 9 launch is June 23. Had to look it up because I didn't remember. Still doing the Star Link thing. Just wonder how that internet service is going to be. Still wish I had fiber optics here. Kind of hard to retrofit an area.

Looks like I am going to have enough to put out a recycle bin this Friday full of plastics. Not quite full but probably won't hold another weeks worth.
