About the same rain as yesterday

Scattered showers seem to be the norm for today. Could see them springing up on radar but I don't think anyone in this area got any rain. The rain chance for Saturday went back up. Odd how it changes like that. And it looks like all of next week have decent chances of rain. The Tropics looks to be quiet. The National Hurricane Center says no tropical cyclones for the next five days. Not exactly word for word but I think close enough.

Already past mid June and summer actually starts this Saturday, June 20. So that would make it the summer solstice when the we have the longest day. So believe it or not days are going to start getting shorter. Got a lot of hot weather yet to come.

Didn't work on any kind of project today. I did adjust my projector screen just a little but nothing outside of that. Put up the dishes and loaded the overflow in and finished cleaning up the kitchen.

And got my HEB delivery pretty much right on time and got that all sorted and put away. So Really convenient although a bit more expensive than curbside pickup but the added convenience is worth it. I get to stay home and just wait for the doorbell to ring. They do a good job of keeping you informed of when they are going to arrive. Probably the first time I got everything I ordered with no substitutions. Well, not sure about the water but as long as I got water not much of an issue.

Ebay is something else. Didn't think I could buy postage stamps on eBay but you can. Nice. Bought a few more items on eBay. Still a bit surprised at everything I can find. So will be expecting a few deliveries next week. And bought some stuff for a project. Outside of that mostly needs and some wants.

Paid a bill. As usual now I just see who it is from and then look it up and then pay using my bank's bill pay. One day I am going to break down and try to go mostly paperless because mostly that is really what I am doing now. My goodness. I use to write so many checks to pay bills. Kind of rare not but I still do.

Did a good bit of texting back and forth with Gary today. Used my last stamp tonight to mail an envelope. Took it to the post office and mailed it.

Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day. Got a fresh loaf of bread in with my delivery today so I think I am good. Good on cheese and butter also I think. I had the last two slices of the last order as toast today.

And tonight being Thursday night means there might be another free premium channel preview starting at midnight.

Today was a good day for incense. I burned two and I think they were black cherry and vanilla. So good for body and soul.

Today's lap cat was Fozzy. Wouldn't quite get in my lap but I moved him and he promptly proceeded with a cat nap. Let him sleep until my legs finally said no more. Fozzy was all curled up. I always hate to wake him but my legs are usually going to sleep.

Watched about another episode and little of another of Star Trek Discovery tonight on CBS All access. Not quite sure where I am but I think I am in season two.

Watching Galveston live cams. Looks kind of busy down there.
