Saw them.

Today was the vintage aircraft flyover and I actually managed to catch a glimpse of about half of them as they were making a turn to continue on another leg of their flyover. Had my binoculars so had a decent view for the brief time that each plane was in view. Way cools to see them. Wasn't sure if I could. They were also on Flight aware so you could see exactly where they were. Flying about 1900 feet at about 150 mph.

Very beautiful day for it. Not a cloud in the sky and just marginally warm. Not going to get quite as cool tonight as it did last night. Going to stay warm for a while. Looks like that is the end of the cooler nights. Next decent change of rain is Thursday. And continuing through Monday.

Did some more CAD work today. Not much just added a few more pieces but it looks like it is going to work. Still have a few more things to figure out. And some design changes. Don't think it will be actually built in wood until next fall but should have all of it designed.

Pretty lazy day today. Probably work to clean up the kitchen tomorrow and do some laundry.

Pay a few bills on line. Save postage that way.

I have an IBM flowcharting template that I got when I first started in college for computer programing. I guess no one uses a manual template any more. Anyway the price on it is listed as $0.35. Yes, listed as 35 cents. I checked to see if they were still made and what the cost might be. No indication if they are still made and I don't know why they would be but you can find them for sale all over. Looks like $9.00 is a good price for one. Just a piece of computer history now. I have kept mine all this time along with the paper sleeve it came in. I even used it in computer programming class. Has cut outs for punched cards and magnetic tape and punched tape.

I have never been to my office since the last move. I can see it on the floor plan. I wonder if my last remaining box of books is in there. I didn't have just a lot left. Not sure what is in my box except for my NGPSA data book. I probably got that within weeks of starting work after college. I don't seem to have missed any of it. I had long since recycled all the technical articles I had kept along with all the catalogs and equipment literature.

Got two out of the blue Friends request on Facebook. No friends in common. Don't know them. Leary about accepting those. Checked again. One has disappeared.

Furr's Cafeteria originated in my home town. Checked and can't believe they are still in business. Switch from a cafeteria model to a buffet. Good memories of growing up and going there. About the only place to eat in my home town.

That should do it for tonight.
