Going to be cool tonight
May. 9th, 2020 11:14 pmWeather forecast for tonight is cool crisp 59 °F. Cool indeed for this time of year. But just tonight and tomorrow night and then it looks like it gets back to normal. No chance of rain. Actually says a zero chance of rain. Beautiful day today.
My home town had a Spudnut. Well, they made doughnuts essentially and my dad use to buy them all the time. I remember him saying he was going to Spudnut. I didn't know until last year that Spudnut used potato flour to make their doughnuts. So many years later to discover that. I just remember they always tasted good. Maybe my parents didn't want to tell me they used potatoes so I would like them. Google says they are gone but you can still buy the mix.
There is a Shippley's close. I go there from time to time. No more Spudnut around.
No lap cat participant today. Some days it is like that.
Tomorrow is the Vintage aircraft flyover. Looks like the closest approach to me is going to be about 2:30 or shortly after. I will by watching. Binoculars in hand but I think they are going to be too far away. Don't want to go to any kind of viewing area.
Did some more CAD work today on my electric motor cycles. It looks like this concept is going to work. Need to modify it some but I think it will work. Good thing it is just made of card board for the time. And I get to use nails for pivots.
Had to start another NetFlix series today. Now watching Ghost in the shell. A 3D anime. Only one season and the episode are short so probably going to have to find another series soon.
Got several of scheduled items done for today. Didn't get a few of them due to distractions from something else I wanted to do or to just play with.
Rumor is that our office is going to become a satellite office. Odd how things have changed. The other office typically would have been the satellite office. Guess it doesn't matter to me. Doesn't look like I am going to be impacted.
Always amazed at what can be found on eBay. Bought things through eBay for the longest time. I shouldn't be surprised but I always am.
I have an XP computer. It is having thermal issues so I suspect one of the fans isn't working. I also have a VCR. It has been sitting on a shelf for a number of years for which I don't remember. No idea if it still works. Don't think I have any media to play on it anyway. Add to the list is an DVD player. Not a Blue Ray but its predecessor. Probably need to send all of them to the recycle.
I switched all my DVD's to Blue Ray on Netflix. Not that much more expensive.
Watched a little more of Cats. Probably going to watch a little more before going to bed. Next up in my Netflix queue is Frozen II.
Next decent chance of rain is next Thursday. Looks like the following several days are going to have rain too.
