Rather typical weather

process04No barn wood builders tonight. So I don't know if last week was the season finale or just missing a week. I am afraid summer is going to see a dry spell of programming.
The Discovery Channel did have a special for the Curse of Oak Island building up to the season finale this coming Tuesday. I wonder if they were saving the best for last and actually found something significant.
Fozzy delivered an exceptional hair ball today. Something typical of medium and long haired cats. Fortunately it was in the garage.
Cleaned up the kitchen today and ran the dish washer although I have yet to unload it. Also did a load of t-shirts for laundry today but have yet to hang them up.
The Houston Museum of Natural Science is holding another auction. I bid on a nice looking bracelet. I bid in the last auction but didn't win. So, going to try again. Just for fun.
No CAD work today. Watched a bunch more episodes of Moon Shiners thought. Talked to Gary quite a bit on Hang Outs.
No lap cat today. Nice to have kitties that love to sleep in your lap.
Retrieved my recycle bin that I put out on Saturday. This Friday will be metals and plastics. I think I already have a full bin plus.
Still watching crude oil. Never seen anything like this. Also following the gold price. Just to think that at one point the official price of gold was $32 a troy ounce. Not sure what silver was. Silver still looks like a good buy. Odd about gold ownership. Americans weren't totally free to own and trade gold until 1975.
The gold souks in Saudi were amazing. Just wall to wall gold. Nothing less than 18 karat. Hard to find anything above 14 karat in the US. The gold jewelry was sold on gold content. They just weighed it, multiplied by the cost per gram and that was the price. There was no jewelry markup at least not directly.
Still no stimulus check. Really wasn't expecting it to show up this soon especially on the weekend. But I am getting one. Talked to a friend that quickly filed his 2019 taxes so they would base the stimulus check on that. He made too much money in 2018 to qualify.
A decent chance of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. Looks like cool nights on Wednesday and Thursday. Warming up next week.
