Not like yesterday in that we didn't get any rain today. Not much warmer though. Looks like a nice warm up starting on Sunday and lasting for several days. Going to have to make good use of my shop time. Some decent chance of rain on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Then going to get cold again. Did a little work in the shop today. Not much. Cold got to me quick. Just cut a piece on the jig saw and on my mini table saw. Project support. Finally got my outside temperature gauge back outside. My outside temperature gauge says it is 53°F with 74% humidity. Officially at the airport it is 54°F with 71% humidity. Moved my gauge to a location that might give more of an outside reading. Had it in my doorway before. Might have been impacting the results.
Got my vacuum hose in today. Also ordered my TurboTax. Decided this year I would still do my taxes using software and maybe next year use this one as a go by and just do it by hand. Just have one outstanding item on eBay. Now Surplus Center, TurboTax, Lowes. Still lot of stuff yet to come in. Seem to always have something on order.
Wood working today was just to support project work.
Did my kitchen duty today and ran the dishwasher. Haven't put up the dishes yet. Just about got all my last years worth of papers sorted and filed. With everything paperless I didn't have much to file.
No bill paid today.
Got one junk call.
About time for the Houston Museum of Natural Science to have another auction.
For project work I finished my DC controller. Didn't work. Don't know why but going to put it aside for now. Will investigate further later. Started on my two line LCD display and charged more battery packs.
Finished this season of the Witcher and started a new movie. Kind of think it is going to be kind of simple. Still watching Locke and Key. Like that series.
About two days until the next launch. Falcon 9.
Was a moderate day. Not as good as yesterday. Was a head day and moderately depressed most of the day. Kind of worked out of it though. More dreams that I wish would go away. I seem to be plagued with those. Somehow I make it through the day and the days pass. Just wondering if we really made it.
January is just about over. Days.
No word on either car. Don't know when I will get my new car. Ordered it in September. Chip shortage.
Pop tarts for dessert tonight.
Got my oil lamp night light lit in the kitchen along with a candle. Need to fill it with kerosene before I go to bed.
Gold seems to be on its way up. Almost in the upper half of $1800 and ounce. Crude bounced back and might make another 52 week high this week. Not that far away from it.
Woke up to find Fozzy snuggled into the blanket next to me. Really not snuggling just sleeping next to me. Surprised me to find him there. Twist insist of being a lap pirate. Three times today. Odd but he doesn't do that when I am in my office. Both sweet cats.
Need to put the car up. Not much to sort in the shop. Just put up my shop vac and the power cord. Not going out for a drive.
got that done.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
