In for a change soon. Rain early.
Nov. 25th, 2021 11:48 pmWas a nice day today although a bit windy and cloudy but perfectly comfortable. Did work out in the shop a good bit and felt comfortable. Looks like the rain might start about 5:00 am tomorrow morning and it looks like at least according to the forecast it might rain all day. More rain on Saturday and it is going to get cold too.
Started this yesterday but didn't feel like writing anymore. So going to finish today. We did get rain today but it wasn't heavy as expected or last as long but still it was a pretty decent rain. Haven't checked my rain gauge though. My outside temperature gauge says it is 56°F with 56% humidity. Going to be cold tonight and not warm up much for the next four or so days. Looks like it might be too cold to do much out in the shop. And Saturday shows a good chance for more rain. Officially at the airport it is 54°F 55% humidity. Did do some work in the shop late in the evening and was nice.
Being thanksgiving nothing came in today but I did get my Ring camera in yesterday. Wasn't expecting it so soon so today I ordered another battery pack for it and a solar panel charger. Where I am going to put it I don't want to be forever getting the ladder to change batteries in it. The camera is wireless. Could really get power to it anyway from inside. The solar panel charger should take care of that. Probably be good for several years before the batteries reach the end of their service.
I should be getting my oak shipment in from Forrest products tomorrow. That will be closing out that order. Still will have stuff coming in from MLCS, Fab Glass and eBay. Now more from Ring since I order the new battery pack from them. Might actually install it tomorrow. I think it is going to be pretty cool. I can watch it from my new refrigerator.
Thanksgiving was not enjoyable. Did wear my new hoody so it wasn't a total loss. The other two people where one person that I didn't really like and one that was non-stopper talker that didn't nothing but try to prove how much he knew. Anyway, I found him very draining and just couldn't stay any longer and had to leave because I was out of energy. Didn't really enjoy it at all. The food was good and I took home some left overs and had those tonight.
Skipping what I did yesterday but no house work or project work done today. I did do some more work on the display cabinet top and cut two mortises in the bed frame end panels. Still took a lot of time to set everything up and as usual very little time to actual make the cuts.
Forgot what this mornings incense was. Got my oil lamp night light lit in the kitchen. No bills paid today.
Twist was a lap cat today and Frozzy snuggled with me after I finished my eye treatment and was sitting on the couch. Frozzy gives great snuggles and went to sleep and was dreaming for awhile. Like it when my cats do that.
Got my Aladdin lit in my office. Warming up a little.
Got the shop sorted and the car put up. Cold outside tonight.
No word or either car.
Don't know if the gold and crude markets were open today but don't feel like doing a report tonight.
Switched back to Super Girl and Cowboy Bebop tonight. And as always Youtube videos to round out my viewing pleasure. Being Thursday need to check to see if this is premium channel free preview weekend. Might be but have to remember to check.
Nothing soon on the launch front. More as it gets closes.
Had pecan pie for after dinner dessert and also more pop tarts.
Tired tonight as always but feeling a little more rested. Better than last night as I was feeling really depressed about going to thanksgiving dinner and more than a bit anxious. Glad that is done. Nothing scheduled for awhile unless my new car comes in.
Got to put up my stockings and minimal Christmas decoration. Need to work on my display. But probably two cold for the next several days.
Probably put out my recycle bin tomorrow. Close to being full. Probably won't make another week.
Fozzy loves to be petted but doesn't like being handled at all. Really freaks out if I pick him up.
No junk calls today. Wasn't home for part of it.
I think that is goin going to do it for tonight.
