It continues to be rain free.
Oct. 24th, 2021 10:00 pmWe did get some rain yesterday but didn't get any today. Looks like the next two days are going to be pretty much the same with a low chance of rain and warm. Then on Wednesday the rain chance almost goes to 100% and the temperature drops. Must be a cold front moving through. After that there is basically no chance or rain for a while. Was a bit too warm in the shop today. The fans didn't really help that much so I did what I could in the shop and came in. Right now my outside temperature gauge says it is 79°F with 88% humidity. The official temperature at the airport is 77°F with 88% humidity. So humid outside tonight.
Being Sunday I didn't get anything in which is kind of rare but I have in the past. Looking to tomorrow I might get three things in. Two from eBay and one from Evick. Doesn't come with batteries so as soon as I get it and see what kind of battery it needs I will order one. Might get my Jehu board in tomorrow but I don't have any tracking on that. Might order my custom door tomorrow.
I won my Houston Museum of Natural Science Auction item. Wasn't hard as I was the only bidder on it. Some bowls I thought were interesting and should look good in my China Cabinet. Not cheap but I wanted them.
This mornings incense was Vanilla. I remembered which is kind of rare.
No bills paid today.
Did some more work on my HEB Delivery order. Some things like my apple juice and green tea aren't available. The some things have showed up again. Never can tell.
For housework today I did my kitchen duty and put the dishes in the dishwasher and ran it. Haven't put them up yet.
Did the truck start, run and drive today. Pretty long loop. Longer than usual.
This morning sucked as far as my depression. Mornings always seem to be bad and just any little thing can trigger me no matter how insignificant. But I manage to come out of it and felt close to good the rest of the day.
No project work today. I switched to the lead acid batteries and brought my 36 volt system back to the back porch in anticipation of my lawn company coming tomorrow. I think my LFP battery solar panels are pretty much shaded now. Probably put the back to the Lead acid and use the battery charger on the 1000 watt inverter to keep that battery pack charge.
For wood working today I worked on the face frame. Got pretty far along but it was just uncomfortable in the shop so I didn't do as much as I could have. Hopefully I can finish and install my face frame tomorrow but it is going to be warm. I might be able to order my doors tomorrow.
No lap cats today. Twist did snuggle with me this morning. He is a good little snuggle kitty.
I have been feeding another kitty for the past several days and I suspect he is Shout, the brother of Fozzy and Twist. I don't know but it looks like him. Doesn't explain where he has been for the past couple of years since I rescued Fozzy and Twist. He just disappeared along with his mother. Didn't show up today so I don't know why. I did find a dead mouse on my back porch. Guessing it was a gift from "Shout" before he might have moved on or gone back to where he has been all this time.
Started a new series on Netflix and continued to watch Super Girl. Added in the usually Youtube videos to round out my viewing pleasure.
Gold is again very close to $1800 an ounce. Crude is cruising. Hit another 52 week high today. Seems to be really moving up. Might make it to $100 a barrel soon.
Read LOL Cats today. Always look forward to that and really enjoy it.
Car is not put up. Need to shot the shop and got a good bit of stuff out today.
Kind of tired tonight.
Got a dental appointment tomorrow. An eye appointment the next day. Think I can do it. Still kind of dread it.
Halloween is next Sunday. Seems odd but that will be the end of October.
Watchable launch tomorrow. Japanese. About 8:30 pm our time. Will watch if I can remember.
Not going for a drive tonight.
Thinking about my Christmas lights. Might make a 16 que light sequencer. I think I know how to make a 4 by 4 matrix control work.
Neon strips will be used for animation. I think it will be cool.
I won my eBay auction for a jade bangle. Was the only bid. Just did it for the fun and will eventually send it to Ashley.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
