Not my day for rain.

Must have rained everywhere except here. I was watching the radar and it looked like the rain was purposely avoiding us. Came close a lot but nothing at all. Looking at the forecast it looks like the next chance of rain will be on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Looks like it is going to be hot and dry tomorrow. A few degrees cooler on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and then it warms up again. Outside tonight as reported by my temperature gauge it is about 82°F with 78% humidity. Seems a bit cooler tonight than lately. But the official temperature is kept at the airport and they report it is 75°F with 85% humidity. Big difference in the temperature. Don't know why. Doesn't seem like lately we have good agreement at all. Trying to remember what I did in the shop to get everything out. Can't really think of anything outside of cutting a couple of cut outs on the scroll saw. Drilled a few holes.

Didn't get anything in today but did order some music. Haven't done that in ages. Pink Floyd Meddle on CD. Couldn't find it on vinyl. Never heard this album before. Finally checked the status of my oak order from Home Depot. Thought it was suppose to come in this Tuesday but it was next Tuesday. And my poplar order should be in on Thursday. Not expecting anything tomorrow.

Got my HEB delivery order in today and seven items were missing. Not to happy about that. Sent in a complaint. Haven't heard back from them. One item occasionally but I am missing seven items. Really wanted a couple of them too like my candy. Don't know what they will do. Would like them to redeliver them.

Checked this afternoon and it is not a premium channel free preview weekend.

Paid my utility bill today.

As usual not at all sure about which incense I burned this morning.

No lap cat yet. Fozzy did snuggle with me while I was taking a nap. Neither one slept with me last night. Missing having a cat sleep with me.

Did my kitchen duty today. Ran a load of whites in the washing machine. Haven't put them in the dryer yet. Put my T-shirts back into my closet from the laundry closet.

Just wood working associated with project work today. Cut some knockouts for volt meters and drilled a few holes. Just about got my solar center instrument and control panel put back together. Nothing much else. Doesn't sound like I did much all day. I guess I really didn't but somehow it took up the entire day.

Decided not to water the sod today. Probably have to the next two day. Not much chance of rain and it is going to be hot. Might not have to on Monday and Tuesday though.

Had my cheese sandwich today. Always good.

Was pretty solidly depressed today. Trigger by something that really isn't that worrisome. I did just out of the blue even though I meant to just go outside and sit on the tailgate of the truck but instead I installed one of the garage door seals. Depression does that. Felt a little better after I had finished. Had that project on my to do list for at least 10 years. Will try to install one more tomorrow.

More episodes of the Manifest today for viewing pleasure and of course mixing in some YouTube videos.

Took my IRS quarterly payment to the Post Office very late last night. About 2:00 am. Just have my car insurance to pay and then I am all caught up. Well, credit card bill coming up. Charging too much.

Don't know when I am going to get paid this month. Never do. Last month was late. Don't understand how they do it. But I do get paid.

Gold made a pretty good up move today. Heading towards the middle of $1800 and ounce. Crude couldn't follow suit and fell back just a bit. Still haven't seen any change in gas prices.

Got my recyclables put out on the curb tonight. Not really quite full but would be overflowing but next Saturday. No trash bin out.

No launches to watch. Ten days at least.

Car is still out. Don't have much to put up in the shop. Don't think I will go out for a drive tonight.

I could hear the fireworks at the ball park. Must be getting close to the end of their season.
