Did not follow today with more rain.
Aug. 10th, 2021 10:08 pmNo rain today although it looked like a small rain storm cell was going to pass over us. Missed us or rained out before it got here. Not much chance of rain for tomorrow according to the forecast but the chances pick up again for the next few days but nothing really impressive. More of the scattered thundershower type of rain chance but we have been getting a decent of amount of those keeping the yard watered. Still pretty much soaked. Still a little surprised by the temperatures. Tomorrow is supposed to be the warmest day for the remainder of the forecast. Not that terribly hot of a summer so far. Thing should cool off in September. Then can probably get back into the shop towards the end of September. Just have to get there. My outside temperature gauge reports a temperature of 86°F with 75% humidity. The air port's official temperature is 84°F with 79% humidity. Tropical storm Fred now moving towards Florida. Track should be well predicted tomorrow.
Got one item in today. Got my eye scrub in. Was thinking I might get something else too but nothing made it. Didn't order anything today. Checked my cart wheels and tracking shows that they are coming in tomorrow. Got to see if my half inch bolt is long enough. Can easily finish it in a day.
Took Fozzy in today to get a flea treatment. Notice flea dirt where he would lay down. Was scratching and biting at himself a lot lately. Hopefully that will fix him. Got a vaccination today too. Twist seems to be fine. I guess the difference between and short hair and long hair cat.
No lap cat today. Don't think Fozzy is too happy with me for taking him to the vet. Went in the carrier a lot easier than I though he would and didn't make a fuss on the way. Didn't waste anything getting out of the carrier when I got him home.
Meant to remember but I have forgotten what today's incense burn was. Did burn incense.
Another depressing day. Was hoping it would be a good one again after yesterdays recovery but it wasn't. Do feel better at the moment but still depressed.
For housework today I did my kitchen duty and put up the dishes out of the dishwasher. Also hung up my t-shirts. About it for house work.
Didn't do any wood working or project work today. Didn't feel like it at all. Did have a problem getting my Linx machine to connect to the Wi-Fi. Think I fixed it by adding an external Wi-Fi Connection.
Deposited my check from the Tax Department. Showed up in my account so I guess I did it right. Second time to do that.
Watched a rocket launch today. Success. No external cameras like Falcon 9. Still fun to watch. Next one to watch is in three days.
No bills paid today.
The lawn company came today. Been a little inconsistent to start. Always clears up a bit of anxiety when they show up. Still no landscaping yet.
Haven't got paid yet. Last month was on the 14th so maybe a few more days to go.
Gold seems to have settle in close to the bottom quarter of $1700 and ounce. Crude did go up some and is now at least more than twice its 52 week low.
Didn't do any work on my HEB delivery ordered.
Car is out but the shop is already sorted. Didn't do anything out there today. Just got to put the car up.

August is almost a third over. I think school started this week.
Going to put the car up. Got that done.
Thinking about ordering some more plywood to work on my tricycle.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
