The dry between the rain.

Was a dry day today with no rain here. Didn't look at the radar so I don't know what the rest of the area was seeing. Not too cloudy either. Tomorrow looks like a rain free day but Saturday looks like it might pour. A really really high chance of rain then but a lot of days with a high chance of rain follow that too. Still just amazed at how moderate the forecast temperature are for the remainder of the forecast. Very unusual for this time of here. Su[posed to be unbearably high. Not the normal for now that I remember. But like always it is the weather and can change up aa well as down. Doesn't seem to cool off just a lot at night though. Showing to be 82°F according to my outside temperature gauge with 89% humidity. A very humid night. Officially based on the reading at the airport it is 82°F with 81% humidity. So just watching the weather. Looks like Elsa is going to turn north well before it gets here. Good for us but not for everyone. Forecast to stay a tropical storm. Higher though on some of the spaghetti models.

Didn't do any woodworking today so never took the car out of the garage. Nothing to sort and the car is already inside. Kind of a rare day that I don't at least back it out of the shop. Should put it on charge.

Today is July 1st. The Fourth is on a Sunday. Might go to the Kroger parking lot but stay a long way away and stay in the car to watch the fireworks if they have any this year there.

Did my kitchen duty this morning. Nothing else in terms of housework.

Mean to work on coding for my push buttons but didn't. I did build an S7 board for my 18650 batteries with a battery management system so I could charge them. Does seem like a lot. Got my new official Raspberry Pi Keyboard in today and spent some time getting it situated on one of my radio projects. Nice keyboard. Thinking it is going to work well with the Raspberry Pi 0W because it already has additional USB port and I don't have to use an port. Nice feature.

Being Thursday I have to stay up late to check to see if it is a premium channel free preview weekend. Add to my viewing pleasure if it is. But for today it was YouTube videos, more of my Netflix series and Barnwood builders. Catching up on that series. I also got a Netflix movie in today.

Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day.

Forgot to mention that I did the truck start, run and drive yesterday. Need to add gas soon.

No lap cat as of yet. Paid my utility bill today. Today's incense was Black Cherry. I think the rotation starts fresh tomorrow. Also need to do my firefly recharge.

Might get my miniature drill chuck in tomorrow. Should make it a lot easier to change bits on my home made lapidary drill. Not quite completely tuned right but it works well. Don't see anything else coming in. So I think all the outstanding items that I have now are from eBay. Got my China wire connectors and my AARP Bluetooth speaker and all of my Home Depot order. I have ordered some more solid state relays though. Want to try a matrix configuration for ques. Not sure how to wire it though. If done right with 8 relays I can control 16 ques.

Gold is bouncing around the third and fourth quarter of $1700 an ounce. Crude shattered its old 52 week high with a pretty big jump. Backed off of it though. Supposedly demand and short supply are driving it up. Gas prices are going up. Not that import with an electric car. Don't use just a lot in the truck for my drives. Will be driving the car more when I get it back. Not very good gas mileage but won't drive it just a lot. No word on it yet but it still hasn't been inspected. No rush. Don't need it. And both the car and the truck can be kept in the garage.

Next watchable launch is another Falcon 9 on July 11th. Some before then but I don't thing the launch will be carried live.

Thinking hard about buying the Bolt EUV. Want to sit in one first to check the visibility. Should really get back to just one car. Been probably 40 years since that has been the case.

Junk calls are oddly quiet. Didn't get any today. Maybe it is work. No annoying calls either.

Usual depression this morning. Improves and the day goes on but still feel a bit down. Probably never going to change. Since the car is already put up I don't think I am going out for a drive.

Fozzy joins me for TV time. He sleeps on the coffee table while I am watching and sometimes snuggles in my arms. I give him plenty of attention. He never seems to get enough of that. Fur is so soft.

Can get super floss at HEB. Don't need to order it from eBay. Added it to my next order.

Wonder how work is going. Still getting the unwanted dreams. Don't think I had one last night though.

Recycle bin goes out this weekend. Just about full. Still have items to add to it. Won't make it until next week. Trash bin isn't full enough yet.

Might listen to a little more of Ashley's podcast.
