Nice heavy rain today.
Jun. 30th, 2021 10:04 pmAnd following yesterday's heavy rain we got another one today. Haven't looked at my rain gauge though. Probably close to overflowing. I don't know. Clear tonight though. Maybe some light rains not too far away but probably just radar returns on high moisture in the air. Not as high of a rain chance for tomorrow but many days after that there is. Might be a really wet start of summer. Temperatures are also mild. Kind of unusually mild for this time of year. Usually in the high 90's. Keeps down the air conditioning bill. And does give a little more time in the shop but the humidity usually drives me back inside pretty quick. Just isn't comfortable out there and I have no time table to do anything. So just work until it feels like I want to come back in. Right now outside it shows to be 81°F with 100% humidity. Lots of moisture in the air or my sensor needs to be dried out. Now to compare with the official temperature for the area at the airport which is 79°F and 90% humidity.
Good day for deliveries. I got my wire connectors in from China. Wanted the singles but got the groups of three. Can cut them apart easy enough. Will have just a lot of them. Look like at least a life time supply. Also got my membership gift in from AARP. Forgot to mention that. A Bluetooth speaker. Nothing in from eBay though. I did order a few more things though. I order some solid state relays. The mechanic ones do have a limited number of cycles while the solid state ones don't but can't handle the current the mechanical ones can so there is a trade off. Got my sheets of white board in from Home Depot. Didn't realize that they were 48" wide. So I have plenty of material for my projects now. I like to use that to make face boards for projects. I also got the ghost delivery today I was kind of expecting. My inverter generator just showed up with no tracking information so I though it might have been a canceled order that was mistakenly delivered. Thinking I might actually get two of them. But I got the ghost delivery today which means they showed all the tracking information and that it had been left at my front door today but nothing was there. It has happened before. No porch pirates to carry that off. Weighs at least 100 pounds. Going to say that is the end of that saga and I don't have to contact the first company. Got the inverter, only one. Nothing to worry over now.
Did the usual kitchen duty this morning. Not much in the way of housework.
The lawn company did come today. Not sure when as I didn't hear them at all. Must have been as I was doing my daily prep work. Got to pay that bill. Should do that tonight. Write and paper check, address and envelop and put a stamp on it and mail it. Still no landscaping company. Might be busy.
No word on the car. Still hasn't been inspected.
No junk calls today. Kind of odd not to get one. Maybe asking to be put on the Do Not Call list is working.
Got invited to Mary's and Kevin's 4th of July BBQ. Not too sure if I will go or not. Not hearing any fireworks tonight.
Viewing pleasure for today was more of my Netflix series, YouTube videos and Barnwood Builders.
Incense today was lavender. Tomorrow July starts. June ends. Days.
The usual morning depression. A little worse this morning. Tappers of fortunately. Not too bad tonight.
Since tomorrow starts a new month got to watch for getting paid. wonder when it will happen this month.
Twist was an opportunist lap cat today. No true lap cat.
Forgot to watch the Falcon 9 launch live. Watched the replay. Just perfect. As always. My goodness. It just works. Recovered the booster too.
Cut some wheel well support pieces, routed the holder grove and drilled two holes. Not a lot of woodwork but started to feel uncomfortable. Just do little each day and it will get done.
Really just worked on code today for project work. Thinking about how I am going to do the connections for my clock.
Gold is still hanging in the third quarter of $1700 and crude didn't make another52 week high. Not that close today. Holding on though about where it has been for a couple of days.
Like always the car is out and the shop needs to be sorted.
Still with the unwanted dreams. Thinking too much about the bad times in the past. Another to put in the books.
Fozzy joined me tonight to watch TV. Seems to enjoy that.
Nice to have a selection for breakfast. Was out of everything except toast.
Going to start another HEB Delivery. Always thinking of something I need. Got all of my Home Depot orders in now. Added a few things. Still need to add more as I think of it and as it gets further on towards two weeks.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
