Surprise brief rain shower today.

Was sunny when I went inside to run an errand and after just a short bit was told it was pouring outside. Couldn't believe it but we got a brief but heavy rain shower this morning. And that was about it for the rest of the day. Don't think we got any more. It did get the ground good and wet though. Nothing looking exciting for a rain chance until Sunday and then it looks like we are going to have a decent chance of rain for pretty much the rest of the forecast. Also temperatures are forecast to drop close to the mid 80's for highs. Kind of odd. Like we are getting some kind of cold front moving through here. Even the 4th looks pretty moderate with a chance of thundershowers. Something in the Atlantic but they think the water temperature is only marginally capable of letting it strengthen. Still got to keep an eye on it. Here outside tonight it it 84°F with 79% humidity. The airport says it is 83°F with 79% humidity for the official temperature for the area. Some mosquitoes out too. Had one going after me tonight in the shop. Hope I didn't let it in.

Nothing ordered today but I did get an order in from eBay. I got my new small tip for my solder iron. Made it a lot easier to solder the IC chips in place. Still have a lot of items on the way from eBay. Counted and there are five out. Tracking show I will probably get one tomorrow. Still have my clip on wire connectors to come form China. Don't have any tracking on those. Still have my wheels to come in from Surplus Center. Cost more to ship than the cost of the wheels but a ton cheaper than I could find them on eBay. And will start building the wheel wells when they come in. Progress on my tricycle.

Gold is holding in the fourth quarter of $1700 an ounce. Crude is close but didn't set a new 52 week high today. So far at least the stations I check the price of gas hasn't gone up.

Word on my car is that one of the accelerator pumps on my carburetor is bad. Generally just rebuild the carburetor but I guess that is a lost art anymore so they are just going to replace the carburetor. Should have objected to that and just told them to rebuild the carburetor. Use to be done all the time but I didn't. An expensive option to replace a four barrel naturally asperated carburetor. Originally one on the car and did have problems with the choke on it so maybe it is just as well to replace it. But it is running. Got to get it inspected and then wait two days until it clears and I can drive it home. Then to the other repair shop to get the air conditioner fixed.

Got a Falcon 9 launch tomorrow at, opps, has been delayed with a to be determined date now. The Everyday Astronaut says it is going up on Monday the 28th. Full moon tonight. Looked at it last night and it looked pretty full.

Did the opposite of house work today and cluttered up the kitchen with more project work.

For project work I got my light project finished today, the light sequencer and working. Also finished my undercabinet emergency lights today. Also figured out how to solder multiple jumper pins to circuit boards. Going to play some more with the light sequencer kits.

For wood working I figured out how to reproduce the curve for the other back rail. Going to be some back and forth between the chair and the band saw but in the end I should have a good copy.

Don't think my 16 volt battery packs are holding much of a charge. Seem to go dead a lot sooner that I thing they should. Maybe keeping the recharged will help. Going to split on my 24 volt Li-ion packs again.

I think firework sales started today.

No lap cat today or bills paid. Got possibly four junk calls today. Didn't answer two of them and got one wrong number. Keep telling all of them to put me on their do not call list. Don't know if it does any good.

Ready for another one to end and put in the books. Depressed tonight. More so than usual.

As usual the car is out and need to sort the shop to put it up.

More of my Netflix series, YouTube videos and Netflix movie for my viewing pleasure tonight. Slowly getting through my movie. Might watch a bit more of my movie tonight. Really intrigued with my Netflix series.

Need to work on my Netflix delivery and release it soon. Gone more than two weeks.

Tonight is Thursday night meaning I need to check for a premium channel free preview weekend.

Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day. Bread is frozen but the microwave brings it back pretty much.

Big beautiful full moon out tonight. Looked at it while I was putting the car up.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
