Today was not a lucky day to find ourselves under a popup thundershower. I did notice some on radar to the west of us but nothing here. Just evidently wasn't our designated day to be under one. Low pressure in the Gulf moving north. Only forecast to reach minimal tropical storm status but will bring a lot of rain to where ever it goes. Right now the National Weather Service shows it going into Louisiana. The spaghetti models show about half of them going into Louisiana half going into norther Mexico and one show it coming here. Kind go covers a wide range. Looks like a fast moving storm so that should limit its strengthening. Was a hot one today also but did manage to get a little work done out in shop. Actually wasn't too bad once I got the fans on. Some decent chance of rain on Sunday and continuing into next week for a few days. Also might just be a little bit cooler too. But not for long. My official temperature here based on my outside temperature gauge shows to be 82°F with 60% humidity. Kind of low humidity for here. Doing a quick check with the temperature at the airport which is the official temperature for here it is 83°F with 59% humidity. Not a bad night actually. Mosquitos seem to be less too.
Was depressed most of the day. Still feeling it a little tonight and as always ready to get another one in the books. My arm hurt most of the day from my vaccination yesterday and still hurts tonight but not as much. Probably be good to go tomorrow.
Had my eye appointment today. Got a good checkup. Nothing to report actually. Need a bit more increase in my glasses but I only use them to drive and I am doing fine with them. Maybe next time. Don't wear my contacts anymore. Really only wore them to go to work and when I was out with Ling. Thinking it has been about a year and a half since I have worn them. Got two complete boxes of them. Might get a chance to wear them again. Not going to throw them away.
Missed the launch of the Falcon 9 today as I was at my eye appointment. Watched the replay. Just as always and to be expected from SpaceX everything went off just perfect. Stuck the landing and recovered the booster. Always making it look so easy like anyone can do it. Nothing really to watch now until June 24 which is another Falcon 9 launch.
Tonight is Thursday night which means I will probably forget to check for a premium channel free preview weekend. I usually eventually check though.
Tomorrow is Friday which is cheese sandwich day. I think tomorrow I am going to try the store bought one. And then probably make one. Still going to use the low fat cheese until I use it up. Okay but just a little less taste than the normal cheese.
Probably got one junk call today. Didn't answer one. Got one annoying call too. I hate it will they try to guilt trip you. Very annoying. Should start calling them on it. See if that will guilt trip them.
Need to pay my gas bill. Will do that right now. Got that done. Pay my gas bill with my bill pay. Going to their site they charge a convenience fee to pay with a credit card.
Still waiting on my Landscaper. He does have the go ahead. Kind of feel sorry for them. It will be hot and miserable to do the work.
Walmart cancelled my inverter generator. Out of stock at the place I was ordering it. Found another place that hopefully had it in stock and reordered it.
My 12/3 extension cord is big. Thick. Shouldn't have trouble with that coupled with my current generator. The female end should be in soon.
Didn't get anything at all in today but I did reorder my Cat 6 cables from a different place. Got those on the way.
Tired tonight. No lap cat so far and didn't burn any incense today.
No project work today. No housework either. Should have put up the dishes and sorted, folded and put away my laundry. But didn't.
Did some woodworking. Shop wasn't too bad. Cut a template for the top plate on my chair. Still have to fit it right. And then cut the real thing. A slow process.
Not much to put up in the shop. Don't think I am going out for a drive tonight.
Worked on my next HEB delivery order.
And for my gold and crude report. Gold took a drop well into $1700 an ounce. Crude fell back more away from its 52 week high.
Viewing pleasure was YouTube videos and more of my current series on Netflix. Got a new movie from them on its way.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
