A break in the rain today.
May. 30th, 2021 09:55 pmWe got a break from the rain today. Didn't even catch one of those isolated showers that showed up on Radar today. Everything is still pretty much soaked from all the rain we have had the last several days. The end of May has been a wet one. Looks like at least based on the forecast that it may be starting again on Tuesday. Probably get one more dry day tomorrow which is good because that is when I have my HEB Delivery scheduled. We still have to go to the airport to get an outside temperature tonight. Right now it is 76°F with 84% humidity. Not cooling off much at all nights right now. At least it is dropping back into the 70's. Probably could sleep with just the window open but haven't ever really done that here. Growing up that was pretty all we had for air conditioning at night. Seemed to be good enough.
Last day of May tomorrow. One more month will be over and school will end this week. Tomorrow will be recharge day too. I will or should charge all of my firefly batteries. And probably need to charge my home protection device too. The batteries are probably not good anymore but I will try to charge them.
Today being Sundar didn't get any deliveries or any junk calls. I did order more stuff on eBay though. Just can't seem to control myself lately. Two more items. My straight cutting router bit that I reordered is shipping. Just going to let the original one expire. I will get another one in from eBay also so I will have two.
Didn't do any housework today although I meant to do the dishes, run the dishwasher and clean up the kitchen but I didn't. Just decided to let that go until tomorrow. I did cut up my soap and put it up to age. Still have enough left to make the three weeks it takes to age. Should be in good shape.
Combination of project work and woodworking today. I worked on my small radio project. Finally decided what I am going to do. I built a test stand for my push button code work. Almost got it wired up but got frustrated on my first attempt and decided to take a different approach. So not wired up. The code looks easy enough but have to try it.
Learning how to use if statements in python. Slowly learning more in that programing language. Not going to probably ever be much more than a beginner. Just don't really need more that just a few commands. Don't really intend to do any extensive programing. Just want to control the computer and make it interact with the outside world like my light sequencer. I have some art work project I want to do with the servo motors. And my radio project in combination with push buttons.
Gold has moved more into $1900 an ounce. Crude is still holding close to the 52 week high but backed off just a little bit again.
No lap cat today. Frozzy has been missing in action lately. Usually pays my lap a visit about now.
Got the shop sorted and ready for the car. Think I am going to pay my lawn car bill tonight. I have to write a check and address an envelope. Kind of want to go out for just a short drive and that will be just about right.
Still have a few more days before the next Falcon 9 Launch on June 3rd. Still scheduled for that date.
My HEB delivery is scheduled for tomorrow. Really low on food. Well, I still have plenty so really nothing to worry about but I do need to resupply.
Not feeling too tired tonight like I usually do. And not really much depressed either.
Today I watched some more of The Curse of Oak Island, YouTube videos and NetFlix. Camp Cretaceous. More episodes of Lucifer are coming.
Finally remembered to do the truck start, run and drive today. Started fine. Don't like to let it set that long.
People still working on the house across the street. Must have needed a lot of repairs.
Need to finish Ashley's latest podcast.
Think I will pay my landscapers bill real quick and then finish my entry tonight.
Got that done. Will take it to the post office when I go out to put up the car. Well, not tonight because the mailbox at the post office is always full on Sunday night now that I think about it. Will wait until tomorrow. Hopefully they will empty it tomorrow and no mail tomorrow. So Nothing to be delivered.
Still haven't heard the estimate to fix my front yard. Going to be an expensive month.
Just thought I would pay my credit card bill. Done. Don't have to worry about it now. Paid.
Still trying to figure out the setup for my Laser projector. Got to move something.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
