After two days of heavy rain nothing today.

We got a break from the heavy rain today and it was a very nice day. A little on the warm side but I didn't spend much time out in the shop. My major shop projects are done for the most part and all I plan to do now in the shop is just short time excursions in the shop just to do one or two items. Not getting a reading at the moment from my outside temperature gauge. But anyway checking in with the reading at the airport it shows bo be 75°F and 87% humidity. So a little warm outside and humid too. It looks like the rain is going to return tomorrow sometime after midday and again on Saturday. So we are not done with the rain yet. Temperatures are going to moderate for the next three or four days so that is good too.

Gold has moved solidly into the fourth quarter of $1800 an ounce and looks like it is on its way back up again. Crude fell back a lot today. Getting further and further away from a new 52 week high. I was guessing it might set a new high just a few days ago but it looks like I was wrong. Might go out for a drive tonight and see what gas prices are.

Got my new monitor in from Ebay today. I also ordered two new things. I ordered some connectors and an 24V to 12V DC to DC converter so I can put my 300 watt true sine wave inverter back on line. So got one item in and ordered two more. Never going to clean my backlog at this rate. Tracking is looking good for the delivery of my 3D printed tomorrow. Already know two things that I want to print. One is a holder for my small servos. Not really designed to be easily mounted.

Hearing fireworks go off from the Baseball stadium. Not a Friday but if I remember this is the teams first home game so I guess that is the reason for the fireworks. Probably more tomorrow. One day I am going to drive to the Sugar Land Farmers market. From there I can watch. Now that sounded like thunder. The finali.

Found an adapter plate for my little servos that I can 3D print. Not just a lot to it. Something simple that will work. Surprised that I can't find more surface mount object for the servos.

Now that all the major shop projects I wanted to do are finished it is going to be a challenge to find something to fill my days. Just a bit bored now and depressed.

For house work today I can't really think of anything that I did.

I got three junk calls today. One annoying call. Got a junk call on my cell phone.

For wood working today I stared glueing together some blanks out of short pieces of thin oak strips. Going to turn them into things like tail light housing. And what ever else I can think of. Just a good way to use some of my scrap. I have a lot of it.

Got the shop sorted but I haven't put up the car yet.

No bills paid today and no lap cat as of yet.

Had a mix of viewing pleasure today. Watched some YouTube, Netflix and a movie. Should get my Laser projector next Tuesday or Wednesday.

The 26th is the next launch of Falcon 9 on another star link mission.

Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day. Got to thaw out the bread but I am good on supplies.

Waiting until after midnight tonight to see if it is a premium channel free weekend. Seem to be rare now.

Got the shop sorted. Wasn't much to do. Did do some cleaning and organizing out there today. Still have a few minor woodworking projects. Still working on my Radio and my chair. Will just bring those along slow.

I put some XT60 connectors on my motor controller. Didn't like the ones that were on there. Classified as project work. I did order some more connectors so I can use my 16 Volt LiFePO4 battery packs. Such an odd voltage. Got to go through buck converters to really use it.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
