Checked my rain gauge this afternoon and it had just about 3 and three tenths of an inch. Total of rain last night and today. Got quite the heavy rain with a tornado warning but it didn't last long. It was really the light show in the sky. Didn't want to stay outside and watch too much of it though. Looks like the rain has ended for the night. Radar show the storm now the east of us and moving east. So I think we are done with the rain for a bit. The next three days still show a decent chance of rain with the rain chance on Saturday coming in at 92%. Was a rather cool day today. Almost turned on the central heat. Felt really good in the shop. Looks like pleasant temperatures through next Tuesday. Right now my outside gauge shows it to be about 71°F with 100% humidity. Since the airport has the official temperature we have to look there to see what the temperature is. There it is 68°F with 96% humidity.
Fozzy is now my lap cat. Looks to be sound asleep or at least faking it really well. Nice to have a lap cat.
Ordered some more saponification agent today from eBay. Add another item to my backlog. I need to make soap soon so I thought I would just go ahead and order some. I don't have enough on hand to make a batch. Ordered twice as much as I usually get so it should last me awhile. Didn't receive anything today at all but I might get the monitor I bid on and won tomorrow. Tracking looks promising. If not I should get it on Friday and might get my 3D printer too. My laser projector shipped today. Somewhere up north at the moment so it will take a few days to get here. I also order a couple of inexpensive gold back. Didn't have just a lot of gold in them. They do look nice though. Should make a unique gift.
Nothing in the way of project work. But for woodworking I pretty much got done what I planned to get done in the shop. I finished the wheel with sections 7 and 8 installed. I also turned the wheel round on the table. Works good enough but not really perfect like turning it on the router. Does make just a lot of smoke if the turn the blade up too much. Have to go really slow. But it does the job and probably heat treats and hardens the wood too. Got the bottom trimmed down to fit the new wheel and started to put my tricycle back together.
Did a good bit of house work today. Didn't have that much to do in the shop. I cleaned the kitchen and dusted my bed. Made candles today. Vacuumed my office. Cleaned the kitchen table. The stove. Made up my bed. Other just odds and ends. Straightening up and finding new places for things.
Gold has moved into the fourth quarter of $1800 an ounce. On its way up again. I am guessing inflations fears are driving the price up. Crude fell back a bit more. Though it might make a new 52 week high but further back now.
Just watched YouTube Videos for viewing pleasure today. Lots of new and returning shows happening soon. More episode of Camp Cretaceous starting on Saturday and soon more episodes of Lucifer. Lots to watch on NetFlix. Good thing because going to be too hot in the shop soon enough. I am surprised that I can still get out there. The weather has been cool enough.
Got to sort the shop and get the car put up. Might go for a drive tonight. Did the truck start, run and Drive today. Just made the school loop.

Kind of wonder what I did to keep busy during all those times I wasn't working. I had a lot of time off. Trying to keep busy.
Hard to keep it straight. Don't remember if it was today or yesterday I got 5 junk calls. Don't pay that much attention to them. I know I got some today.
Paid my gas bill today. Another email bill. Just get a bill from my lawn company by mail pretty much. Has really cut down on the mail I get.
Working on a Costco order. Got to get it above $75 so I can get free shipping. Just don't need that much from Costco or the things I want they don't offer online.
Started listening to Ashley's latest podcast. Going to get her latest sticker.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
