Rain for several hours.

Got a long heavy rain today. Not especially heavy but still a heavy rain. Haven't been out to look at my rain gauge yet but looking from the back door it looks like we got close to three inches of rain. I will do an official check tomorrow. Rained for several hours and at one time they were forecasting that we wouldn't get any. That seems to have been wrong. Didn't rain hard enough to begin to look like flooding out here but I am sure parts of the area did flood as is always the case when we get a heavy rain. My outside temperature gauge says it is about 68°F with 100% humidity. Always says that after a rain. Taking a look at the official temperature at the Airport the temperature is 68° with 93% humidity. The rain may start again late tomorrow evening. And might get rain the rest of the week on into Saturday.

Maybe just a bit off tonight. Don't really feel like sorting out the shop but I know I've got to do that. Got to get the car put up for tonight. Some nights are like this.

Just did some odds and ends for house work today. Nothing really specific. Just did a few things that needed to be done. I did do some vacuuming.

Nothing really in the way of project work tonight. I did put one of my light towers on charge. Nothing else.

Big news. I just decided to go ahead and buy my 3D printer. There are thousands of print files out there. Probably never really have to build one myself. Probably already done and just have to find it but I would like to learn how. I could use it to help with jigs. Specifically my radio project. Should be in this week. Got to assemble it.

Don't think I got anything in today. I haven't checked my mail yet. I will do that when I go to put up the car.

For woodworking today I spent the entire day working on the jig to drill the holes in the hub and got that finished. Also got the hubs cut out, marked and ready for drilling. Going to do that tomorrow. Maybe I can actually put my wheel together tomorrow and trim it to round. Going to do that on the table saw. Never done it before but I think I can.

Added an item to my HEB delivery order. Going to be doing that off and on until next week or so when I release the order.

Twist was a lap cat today and so was Fozzy. Neither seemed to be too concerned about the thunder from the storm. My previous cat was terrified of it.

Watched some more NetFlix today along with YouTube Videos for viewing pleasure today.

Gold moved a good distance into the third quarter of $1800 an ounce. Crude made a good move today and is getting close to the 52 week high. Might actually make it this week.

The Atlas V launch was scrubbed. Don't see in on the schedule again yet.

Next thing is another Falcon 9 launch on the 26th. Another Star Link mission.

Really need to get in the shop and sort that out. Don't think I am going for a drive tonight.

No bill paid today.

My lawn company came today. Beat the rain. They have been coming on Tuesday.

Got the shop sorted but didn't put the car up. Still might go out for a short drive. Didn't think to do the truck start, run and drive today again. Need to do that tomorrow.

Got a lot yet to come in.

Ashley has a new podcast. Two behind now. Need to catch up.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
