Today was just about solid rain.
May. 16th, 2021 10:46 pmRained for a long time today starting about midmorning and ending about mid afternoon. Was never a heavy rain. Just a nice steady light rain. Just perfect for soaking in and watering everything. Don't know how much it rained as I haven't checked my rain gauge. Probably do that tomorrow if I can remember. Don't think we got just a lot but it was nice and steady. Right now my outside temperature gauge says it is about 70°F with 100% humidity. Got to check with the airport to see the official Sugar Land temperature and it is 70°F with 94 percent humidity. The forecast shows we have a very respectable chance of rain all the way through next weekend. Could rain everyday. Temperatures look pretty moderate too. Putting off the inevitable hot weather as long as we can.
Nothing was delivered today. Now last Sunday I did get my 10 pack of oak in but nothing today. The computer monitor I bid on I lost. I finally gave up and let someone else have it. I thought something was a bit strange when I noticed that this was the first purchase of the only other bidder. Not sure what that was about but guessing they really didn't want it but just to drive the price up. So, I just let them have it and didn't keep bidding. I found another monitor that I bid on, cheaper but smaller screen. Doesn't matter that much. I just wanted another monitor. Won that auction. No one else bid. Looks like a decent enough monitor. Didn't want anything special. Just one I could use for my Raspberry Pi projects.
Doesn't look like I am going to get anything in this week unless one of my router bits from Rockler comes in.
Nothing really in the way of project work. I am doing a mockup again of my electric three wheeled go Kart to see if I can make it thinner. Thinking that I can.
For housework I sorted, folded and put away my load of whites and I vacuumed one of the spare bedrooms. I also put up the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen.
For woodworking I cut the two starting pieces for my wheels center hub and I finished my cats window perch and put it in one of the spare bed rooms. Probably going to build something similar for my laser projector.
Tired tonight.
Watched some Netflix and Youtube Videos for viewing pleasure today.
No lap cat as of yet.
Shop needs to be sorted so I can put the car up. Didn't get much out today. Shouldn't take long.
For today's gold and crude report. Gold just moved barely into the upper half of $1800 an ounce. Going back up again. Crude is about where it was. Close to the 52 week high but just can't seem to get there.
Still thinking about ordering my 3D printer. Will have spent a lot. Bought the laser projector. Credit card bill this month is going to be high. Keep thinking one day it will be low.
Actually started another HEB delivery order. Adding things as I think of them.
Next launch is an Atlas 5 tomorrow about none out time. Don't know if I can watch live or not.
Read LOL cats today.
There are just a ton of people that make 3D printers.
Going to pause and get the shop sorted.
Got that done and the car put up.
Got to listen to Ashley's newest podcast but too tired tonight.
Should have done the truck start run and drive but didn't really want to do that in the rain.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
