The forecast for today had a really high chance of rain but I think the extent of it was a brief shower yesterday. Nothing more. Somehow with all the radar images of storms all around us they all seemed to miss us. Thought for sure we would get rain but the storm had other ideas and went somewhere else. But at least today was cool. Almost a bit chilly. Just a perfect day for working in the shop. Was just a bit cloudy with the sun peeking through at times. Maybe rain on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures are going to stay a little bit moderate for a while. My outside temperature gauge says it is 66°F with 78% humidity. Not bad at all outside but the mosquitoes are out too. Just all in my shop. Looking at the official temperature at the Airport it is 67°F with 79% humidity. Close enough.
Ready to put another one in the books. Not the best day for my mental status. Kind of tire. Get this one in the books soon.
Didn't order anything but did get something in from eBay today. Got the blades in for my oscillating saw. They did fit kind of. Enough of a fit to work so they will go. Easily gut the protruding pins on my mirror frame with no problem. About all I needed them for at the moment. Might find some use for them in the future now that I have them. Also took my chisel and squared off the corners. Pretty much ready for the mirror now but I don't know when I will actually get it installed. Got to put the brackets back on it and put it on my dresser. Don't have the material to make the back. That can wait too.
So I got one more item in. Looking at my tracking I don't think I am going to get else in this week. Got another email that my router bit from Rockler won't be back in Stock until the 21st. And my laser projector is still out there. I am still high bidder on the computer monitor too. Don't think I will increase my bid just a whole lot if I am out bid.
Today is May 12th. Days.
No lap cat as of yet. Thought Fozzy would for a instant there but he passed.
Gold dropped into the lower quarter of $1800 and ounce. Crude made a run at its 52 week high today but fell back to just about where it was yesterday. Still early. Don't know how the pipeline shutdown is going to impact it.
For housework today I did do the kitchen clean up and ran the dishwasher. I also cleaned on shelf in the refrigerator. Was looking nasty. Clean now. Trying to do more. With it warming up outside might become a major source of projects.
Didn't really do any project work. Will cover some in woodworking.
Sometimes woodworking crossed over into project work. Did some work on the radio and finally got the rounded corners that I wanted thanks to a plastic buck of cat litter that I bought a long time ago. Worked perfect. I finished cutting the rim pieces for my wheel and drilled the spoke holes. Got two more spokes turned. Should turn more spokes tomorrow and cut the slots in the rim pieces.
Got the shop sorted but the car isn't put up. Feeling like I might go out for a drive tonight. Haven't gone out in the past several nights. Need to go in somewhere one of these days.
Finally released my HEB delivery order for Friday Delivery. Not as much frozen food this time. Still have a good supply of it. Got some stuff to make fried okra. Mostly needed corn meal and pepper. Mine was literally decades old.
Got at least one junk call today. One was a no answer call. So probably got two.
Viewing pleasure today was YouTube videos. My WiFi in my living room seems to have fixed itself. YouTube videos were just really slow. Working fine now. Nice to have 300G now. Massive downloads like updates to my grafix card just take seconds now instead of the minutes they use to take.
Still looking at May 15th for the next launch of the Falcon 9 on a Star Link mission.
No bill paid today. Spend a lot of time in the shop. Was a nice day for it. Tomorrow should be close.
Still waiting on the next podcast from Ashley.
Thinking I might put the motors back on the frame. Store them there. Kind of revising that project. Got to get my wheel done. Design around that. Three wheel recliner style of bike. Electric of course.
Got more batteries than I know what to do with. Got to come up with more projects for them.
Got to put up the car. Kind of chilly outside. Need to check gas prices tonight.
