Was a bit humid today but not too bad. Temperature wise it was decent. Really, really windy though. Suppose to be just like this tomorrow with the exception that there is a possibility of.
Didn't finish last nights entry so I am just going to start a new one. Got some rain just a few minutes ago and it looks like we are in for serious rain tonight and tomorrow. Maybe enough to measure in my rain gauge. I mean rain chances over 90%. So close to a sure thing but it is weather. My outside temperature gauge says it is about 78°F with 94% humidity. Officially at Sugar Land Airport it is 77°F with 94% humidity. Don't see anything on radar heading this way at the moment. Supposed to be rather pleasant as far as the temperature for the next couple of days but then I think the warm up is going to start. Everything in the 80's. Going to get warmer soon enough. Have left the air conditioner on now full time. Starting early in the morning.
Today was my rare eBay happening. I cleared all of my orders from eBay today and I haven't ordered anything else. I got my candy in today so I am not waiting on anything else from eBay. Kind of odd not to be expecting something from eBay. I also got my oak boards in from Lowes today so that clears that order. The only things outstanding at the moment are my poplar from Home Depot and my Gold Backs. I might get my order from Home Depot tomorrow and possibly my Gold backs in on Saturday. And that will clear all of my orders.
Got my HEB Delivery in today. Only one substitution. Got sliced okra in place of my breaded okra. Got a lot of okra now that I really don't know what to do with. Going to try the shake and bake option and see if that will make good fried okra. Really have nothing to lose by trying. Don't know how else to prepare it. Got it all sorted. They were just a bit early and I wasn't quite ready for them. Better than last time though. Got a prepared chef's salad this time. Haven't had one in ages. Hope my body still knows what to do with a salad. Was just about out of everything. Just did manage to fit it all in my freezer compartments. Should be good on food for awhile.
Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day. Got to thaw out the bread in my microwave but good to go on everything else.
Got three junk calls today and one annoying call.
No bills paid today. No lap cat yet. Well, Twist was in my lap and very comfortable before the HEB delivery came and I had to go take care of that.
Watched the launch of the Falcon 9 Star Link Mission last night. One of the reasons I didn't finish my entry plus Twist had taken possession of my lap and I couldn't write an entry. Another successful launch and recovery of the booster. Always looks so easy. Looks like they are starting to get a lot of customers for launch services now. Next watchable launch is probably May 4th.
Put up the dishes today and put my used dishes in. Also did the same tonight. Not much else as far as housework. Did do just some tiny amount of work on my project table to straighten it up. Got a lot to do on it.
Didn't do any project work at all. Tomorrow is recharge day. Got to recharge all my fireflies.
For woodworking I worked on my mirror frame. Got a good bit done and hopefully will finish it tomorrow. As usual I thought I could finish it today but never seem to do as much as I think I can. If my poplar comes in tomorrow I will start working on my drawers again. Probably only have Friday and Saturday to finish my dresser. Looks like the temperature is going to be getting too warm soon. Can probably stand short times outside if the humidity stays low.
Got the shop sorted and ready for the car. Might go out for a short drive tonight. Did the truck start, run and drive this morning. Got to drive it occasionally.
Tired tonight. Nothing unusual there.
Gold fell into the third quarter of $1700 an ounce. Crude made a nice gain today and recovered a lot of ground back towards its 52 week high. Still needs to climb a bit more to make it.
Ashley has a new podcast. Need to listen to it.
