Got a decent enough rain rather late in the evening. Haven't been out to check my rain gauge yet. It was dry for my HEB Delivery today. Did get just a few drops of rain as I was moving items from the front porch to the garage for sorting. Nothing more than just the slightest of sprinkles. More rain forecasted for tomorrow and an even higher chance of rain forecasted for Friday. Did get to rest and listen to the rain on my skylight this evening. One of the things I enjoy. Looks like the warm weather is gone away at least for the next five days or so. Going to be noticable cooler. Was humid out in the shop today. I think I missed the worst of it though. Right now my outside temperature gauge says it is about 69°F with probably 100% humidity. Officially it is 69°F with 94% humidity.
Got my HEB delivery today. Only had one substitution and it was acceptable. I guess they are finally getting everything back in stock. My order was late though and depending on how late is calculated they were as much as an hour and half late. Base on the delivery window though they were just about half an hour late. Usually arrive just after 2:00 pm but today they got here at 3:30 pm. Only really the second time they have been late. Kind of mess up my wood working day a bit. Twist got a nice benefit from it though. He got an hour and a half nap in my lap. Just let him sleep and I shopped online. Found a router bit I could use for the drawers on my dresser.
Not an eBay day at all today. Nothing delivered or ordered today. Doesn't look like tomorrow is going to be an eBay day either unless I order something. I did order a router bit from Rockler and I ordered some more 26650 LiFePO4 batteries. I think I am going to eventually replace all of my lead acid batteries with LiFePO4 batteries. Seem to be able to get great deals on batteries on the secondary market. Just have to build the battery packs myself and add a battery monitoring system. A little less convenient to install over a lead acid battery. I think I can do better on cost per kilowatt hour though with the LiFePO4 system though. If I would have paid the same that I paid for my lead acid I could have gotten a lot more kilowatt hours. Still got to do a bit of my own building and wiring to get them to work.
Not much in the way of housework today. Just put my used dishes in the dishwasher. Can't think of anything else I did. I did put the fiber optical cable on the outside of my house inside of conduit to go up to the attic entrance under the eve of the house. The installer just left it loose. Didn't look good or safe. So I fixed that. Need to do just a bit more to protect the cable. He said they would come to bury the cable in a week to 10 days. I hope sooner. I don't want my lawn company to cut the wire. I think I will go around and pick it up and put it on the fence so they won't cut it. The router is much bigger than the old one but nothing changed as far as my login password. Still the same. Nice that I didn't have to reprogram everything. Downloaded an update today. Usually takes at least a good five minutes to download before. Download in just seconds now. There the speed is really nice to have but just don't notice that much difference in regular web browsing.
Nothing at all in the way of project work.
The HEB Delivery being late really cut into my shop time. Was hoping to start installing the dust frames today. Working on the dust frames and cut a couple of piece of oak for the face frame. Hopefully tomorrow I can start on the installation of the face frames. Going to be slow going at least for the first one and really not that much quicker for the rest of them. Once that is done the face frames should move a bit quicker. Need to do a lot of sanding on the top and get that ready but at least the top is already assembled.

Today is day eight of my minor surgery. My stitches are really itching. Got this cryptic call today about my provider not being available for my appointment on the 20th. The phone number matches the Health Clinic but they didn't say who or really much of anything. Just added call to reschedule. I think anyone can remove stitches. If I could see them I think I would to it myself but not possible. I will have to find out what is going on. No mention on my account though.
Sara is moving to Houston. Won't be for a while yet though.
Falcon still on for the 22nd.
Going to mail my IRA contribution tonight. Wrote the check, filled out the form and addressed the envelope. Need to get that of. It takes a while to show up.
Finally got paid today. About the latest I have ever been paid. Spending it quick too.
Gold seems stuck where it has been. Crude made a good move today and regained about half way to its 52 week high.
Twist was a lap cat today. Fozzy has been missing.
Need to fix my fence too. Close to the Fiber optic cable. Floppy and need to secure it. I will think of something.
The fiber optic wall box is kind of like I imagined it to be. The connection on the bottom of the plate and extended out from the wall. The cable is not flexible enough really to allow any other design.
Paid a email bill today. The electric bill.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
