Today looked like the best chance of rain but really didn't happen. About all we got was a very light sprinkle that only lasted for a few minutes. And today puts an end to March and tomorrow April begins. Going to be just a bit cooler for the next several days and then the 80's look like they seriously begin. Nothing in the way of rain chance worth mentioning for the rest of the forecast. Just going to get warmer. Not going to be able to avoid the air conditioner for much longer. Probably still have the fired heater turn on tonight. I have my Aladdin lit in my office to take a bit of the chill out. My outside temperature gauge says it is about 63°F with 43% humidity. At least it is dryer tonight. Officially it is 62°F with 35% humidity. Even dryer than my gauge shows. Must be a north wind. And it is windy outside. Something like 18 miles per hour and I am sure gusting higher than that.
I backed out of getting my internet upgraded. Kind of let my anxieties get the best of me not wanting them to be inside so much and the cats were going to freak out having someone else in the house. Plus they would only bring it to an outside wall. Something I didn't want because of the way my phone system is connected. I need the new fibre optic modem put in the same place as the existing modem. I thought they would just bring the fibre optic to the junction box and just go twisted pair which already existed inside the house. They need to bring fibre optic all the way to the modem. So they are letting me do the work myself and left me with enough fibre optic cable to do the installation myself. Not going to be too difficult. Just really don't like being in the attic but can't avoid it. I know how I am going to route it. Now just to do it. Much better just to let them connect the fibre optics to the modem and be in and out of the house. Less stress on me and the cats. So no upgrade today. Might be awhile and I am really not in a hurry but should do it before it gets too warm
Tomorrow I think I am going to take the truck in and get it inspected. Another kind of unpleasant anxiety producing thing I have to do. Hope it doesn't take too long. I made an appointment early and I think Thursdays are not supposed to be too busy. If I have to I can rent a car if it is going to take too long.
Tomorrow is Mary and Kevin's anniversary. Something like 9 or 10 years. Not at all sure.
Wasn't an eBay day in either category. No deliveries or orders. Looking at tracking though I am probably going to get a couple of items in tomorrow. Still going to have a few more that I am waiting on.
Didn't do anything close to project work today. The internet upgrade kind of upset my day.
Did do some housework. Mostly vacuuming and getting ready for AT&T to show up. At least the Living/Dining rooms look pretty good now. Nothing much else in the way of house cleaning. Still purging things I don't need or haven't ever really used. Clearing out things. Did work in my closet and moved some boxes to my Blanket chest and managed to consolidate two boxes. Slowly working down the number of boxes in my office closet.
For woodworking today I put together my mailbox post. I will take it apart to install it and then put it back together. I plan on doing that this Sunday. Hopefully the old mailbox post will come out easily. I think that is going to be the worst part. Just getting that one out. I also finished cutting the mortises in my end panels. Sticking to the hour of woodworking per day as much as I can.
No lap cat tonight. Both kind of checked it out but decided not to.
Still have to sort the shop. Really didn't get much out so shouldn't take too long. Then put the car up. Don't think I am going for a drive tonight.

Did go to the post office and mail my lawn company bill last night. Ordered some more stamps. Didn't know you could buy stamps from the United states Post Office on Ebay. But that is what I did.
Got prescriptions to pick up tomorrow. Almost forgot about that.
Got some junk calls today. Didn't really keep count today.
Had some of my Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream for Lunch.
Ready for bed already.
Gold and crude check. Gold moved back into $1700 an ounce range. Crude lost ground. Backing further and further away from its 52 week high. It had a pretty good gain for a while but now has given back a good part of it.
Think I will take a break and get the car put up.
Got the car put up. Kind of chilly in the shop. Putting a phone in the shop has proved to be worth the effort. I can hear the phone ring and don't have to dash inside to answer it.
No change in the launch schedule.
Ashley is working on another podcast this time with a geologist. That should be interesting.
Tonight's viewing pleasure was just YouTube Videos.
I think that will do it for tonight.
