The second day of spring was just as rain free as the first day of spring. And really just as nice. Not sure that it got above 70°F outside but the house stayed at about 78°F from all the sunlight streaming in through my office and dining room windows. Winds were also pretty much calm today. Has been very windy in the last several days. My outside temperature gauge says it is about 59°F and 77% humidity. Officially it is about 60°F with about 85 percent humidity. Not as dry outside as it has been the last few days. The moisture is creeping back in. Going to warm up somewhat tomorrow and be almost hot on Tuesday. Now looking at rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Not much chance anymore for rain on Tuesday. And it is beginning to look like summer or summer like temperatures aren't all that far away. Several day looking to be over 80°F in the forecast. Summer will be here. No stopping that.

Didn't think this would be an eBay delivery day. Sunday rarely is. And I didn't order anything either. My new office chair should make it in tomorrow. And maybe my new gas cap too. Tracking looks promising. That means I will have three outstanding items on eBay. My battery order couldn't ship two day and I knew that because it would be air freight. I don't know why it was even offered. Didn't really get a choice though but the seller is going to refund me the difference in shipping between two day and FedX ground. I knew it would have to go that way. I would think battery sellers would know that and not offer air freight. But anyway I will be getting some money back.

Going to have to see how tall my chair is. I know it is taller than my current chair. Just have to see how it works as a computer chair. Maybe I can live with it with the extra height.

Well, for a combination woodworking and project work I moved my light sequencer along to almost complete. I have the box ready for the lights and can work on the software now that the plugs are secured and the box is close to its final form. Been delaying this project for a long time but last night I just decided to work on it. Didn't do any work on my fourth battery module though. Possible get that read to install tomorrow.

For housework I fixed another two plug receptacles. Found several more and will just fix those one or two each day. Amazing that after living here for about 25 years now I am getting around to fixing those. They really should have been picked up on the walk through but I never thought about checking for that. Really not a hard fix. Mostly just clean out the threads and tighten them. I put up the dishes. Put all my recyclable into the bin. Vacuumed part of the Living room/Dining room. I installed the connection block in the attic and connected the wires from the garage phone but didn't tie it back into the phone system. Really won't take long to do that but just have to be careful because I have to remove insulation in the middle of cable. Don't want to cut the insulation on the inside wired as I remove the insulation.

Just took a short break and finished connecting my garage phone to Ooma. Didn't take long and was fairly easy. And it works so I now have Ooma in the garage. But I don't really have a phone for it. I do have an old style desk phone but I think with all the other phones the ringer equivalence number for it will be too much for my Ooma unit to ring. Ooma says it has an REN of 5. My phone is a bell ringer so it has a REN probably a little more than one. Should work but I think I will get an electronic phone. Those generally have a REN of about 0.1 so I know I will be safe. Getting tired of having to drop everything in the shop and answer the phone. Sometimes I don't hear it ring. And don't want to let the cats out. Just have to see if I can find a good inexpensive phone. I will look on Walmart. Always seems to have a good selection of things like that.

No lap cat today as of yet.

No bills paid today.

Viewing pleasure was more YouTube videos and I listened to more of Ashley's podcast.

Gold seems to like trading about half way into $1700 an ounce. Crude regained a little but is still about 10% below its 52 week high. Don't think gas prices have dropped though.

Still looking at the 24th for the next Falcon 9 launch.

Sorted out the shop early this afternoon. Ready for the car. Might go for a short drive before I put the car up.

Got to do some phone shopping. I wonder if HEB might have something. Checked and nothing close. I looked at eBay last night and really didn't see anything I liked. Check in at Walmart now.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
