Today was the first day of spring and it really couldn't have been much nicer. Temperatures were very comfortable and mostly blue skies all day long and mild winds. Take just a few more like today if they are available. Looks like one more day of this kind of temperature and then it is going to warm up. Seems like the rain chance on next Tuesday has pretty much vanished and now Wednesday and Thursday look like prime rain days. Even then the chances aren't exceptionally high. Just have to wait and see if we do get rain. Almost two thirds through March. Seems like the days go by pretty quick and do go by. And after today the days will be longer than the nights and my solar panels will get more sunshine.
Today was a dual eBay. Got an order in which were more blocklites. I have several of them scattered around the house but I just can't seem to keep up with them. They are just super handy flashlights so I ordered five and hopefully I can keep up with a few of them for awhile. Don't really know where they get off too. Ordered a shower curtain liner. I think my last one was a victim of one of my cats. Did salvage the magnets out of it though for refrigerator magnets. I also ordered some medical supplies. So now I have a backlog of three eBay items. I noticed on tracking that my new office chair was supposed to get here today but some kind of mechanical issue so I guess it will make it on Monday. Curious to see what it looks like. I did compare the measurements given on the website with my current chair and they do match except for the height. The new chair is taller but just have to test it out to see if it is good. Can always reduce the height. Also placed an order for some more 18650 batteries to see if they would fit the battery system I have. Should have looked closer at the shipping. Didn't realize it was second day until too late. Expensive to ship that way.
No lap cat yet. Thought twist was looking interested but didn't follow through.
No bills today.
Not sure if I got a junk call or not today. Don't seem to track them very well. Maybe I did. Not sure.
For housework today I finished loading the dishwasher, ran it and cleaned up the kitchen. Still need to unload the dishwasher though. Did vacuum my bedroom. Moved one of the chest of drawers into the living room from one of the guest bedrooms. Going to take some time to get use to that. I also finish fixing the other gutter downspout. Also trimmed my front bush way back. Was much too tall. A good bit of house work.
For wood working today I finally installed the bottom on my blanket chest. Removed the two temporary pieces and replaced them with a single panel. Now have some surplus plywood. Also cut a piece off of my light sequencer. I think I have figured out how I am going to put it together. Might actually install the back to my entertainment center soon. Would like to have some black paint to pain it.
For project work but this probably should fall under house work. I located the phone wires down to my garage phone. Figured out which of the two I was using and installed my phone jacks. Just enough wire to tie back into the phone line. Will do that tomorrow. Just not motivated to do it tonight. Shouldn't take too much time but I just have to get the cats both in the garage. Twist will climb the attic stairs in a heart beat. Don't think Fozzy will but don't want to take that chance.
Did start an HEB Delivery order. Wanted to make sure I included one item. Probably won't release it until Sunday and then for late next week. Will just add items as I think about it and decide to work on it.
Already got the shop sorted and ready for the car. Did that earlier. MIght go out for a bit of a drive tonight just around since my car now has its registration sticker. Was always nervous about getting stopped although they were suppose to let that slide until April 14th.
No trading in gold and crude to day so nothing to mention there.

Just realized today that the dimensions given for piano hinges are the open flat width. No wonder I couldn't find one that was 3/4". Needed to order one that was an inch and a half which I just did. So now I can finish my blanket chest with a piano hinge. Just not as bright as I think I am sometimes. Took me long enough to figure that out.
Listened to some of Ashley's podcast last night. Was trying to listen laying down and couldn't stay awake. Will listen to more of it tonight.
Got my Aladdin lit in my office. Taking a bit of the chill off in my office. I have my oil lamp night light lit in the kitchen just pretty much like I always do and and candle.
Going to put my outside temperature gauge outside and give it some time to report the outside temperature.
Got that outside now. A bit chilly out there.
Put both my recycle bin and my trash bin out yesterday. The scrap guy didn't pick up the scrap guy items so I brought the back up to the porch. About to give up on him. Maybe he doesn't want them. Didn't have any problem taking the light fixture. Good that he took that.
Might be the last Star link mission. Set for the 24th of March. Not another Falcon 9 launch until late in April.
Kind of tired tonight. Don't really do all that much to be tired.
Tomorrow is LOL Cats day. Always look forward to that. Is a feel good post. Never miss it.
Just about time to put up the car. Might go for a short drive first.
My outdoor temperature gauge says it is 54°F with 56% humidity. Officially it is 55°F with 71% humidity.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
