Wasn't forecast to rain today but we did get a brief shower. Don't think it was enough to show up in my rain gauge though but enough to pause to lay down and listen to it fall on my skylight. The forecast for tomorrow has a pretty decent chance of rain followed by Wednesday which has an almost certain chance of rain. Well, just checking it seems I scheduled my HEB delivery at the highest chance of rain. Really didn't mean to do that and I hope it isn't raining when they do deliver. It does say scattered thunder showers. So far really haven't had a delivery where it was raining but did have really delayed because of the weather but it did get here. Don't really know what the outside temperature is because my outside gauge probably needs its batteries changed so just have to report the official temperature and humidity. Officially it is 71°F and 90% humidity. Does feel nice outside. I went for a bit of drive this evening.
Nothing in from eBay today. Was expecting one item but it didn't make it. Nothing ordered today but probably get my item in tomorrow. Starting to back up orders again. Got a number to come in from eBay and now add to that one from Walmart and another from Overstocked.com. That one looks like it is going to be delivered in April late. So might have that one outstanding for quite a while yet. Just checked and tracking does show my 90 degree water tight flex pipe connector coming in tomorrow too. Need it for my Transfer switch.
Today is Saint Patrick's day. Also the patron saint of engineers. Don't remember much of a celebration at Tech for it but some schools really go all out. Friends went to such schools and would tell me. Never had any green beer though.
Ashley got her package day. Tracking was indicating tomorrow but it got there today. Sent her a lot of items that I think maybe she can use. Most all of my random gem purchases from the International Gem and Jewelry show. Just kind of impulse buys. Maybe she can use them. A lot of cool gems of various types. Also sent her all my bid crazed bangle buying. Sent her five of them. All that I had. I think and hope they are the right size. Kind of cleared up that stash.
Got my Aladdin lit in my office.
Twist was a lap cat this afternoon. He just immediately lays down and gets comfortable and then is out. I have a new drinking fountain that is kind of like a geyser. Twist has it figured out and laps at the top of the geyser but Fozzy just sticks his nose in the geyser and then drinks from the side of the fountain. Hasn't really figure out how to drink from it.
I notice on my drive tonight that gas is now $2.59 a gallon at the places I checked. Highest I have seen it in a while.
Gold is pretty much staying in the lower quarter or $1700 an ounce. Crude fell back a bit more today. Backing away slowly from its recent 52 week high.
Viewing pleasure for today was just YouTube videos. Had planned to watch more The Curse of Oak Island but didn't.
Did some house work today. Put the dishes away and cleaned up the kitchen. Also finished and made some more candles today. Used the cherry scent and it does smell like the black cherry scent.
No wood working today. Still working on the plans for my next project.
Did some project work to advance my battery stack. Got two of my battery modules completely installed in my battery rack and wired to the buss bar. Maybe tomorrow I can get one more completely installed. Still need to get the charge controller for them.
Got one junk call today.
Talked to the new neighbor across the street a little bit tonight. It was a rent house and she bought it from the previous owner. Damaged from the weather and she is fixing it.
Spent some time sitting outside. Nice to do that when the weather is nice. Lots of leaves on the ground. The lawn company didn't come today.
Fozzy made lap cat status just now. Been missing him in my lap for the past several days. He is a big cat.
Still looks like the next launch I can watch it the 20th. Falcon 9 star link.

Paid a bill today. My electric bill. A little higher than normal for this month but now outrages pass through charges at $90 a kilowatt.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
