Off and on rain today.
Mar. 14th, 2021 10:06 pmGot rain today kind of off and on and was never really more than a light rain. I haven't checked my rain gauge but I suspect we didn't get just a lot of rain today. Did get the chance to listen to it hit the sky light for awhile. And it did turn cold tonight. Next probably good chance for rain is this Tuesday and Wednesday. I think I am going to schedule my HEB Delivery order for Tuesday and I just hope it isn't raining. Well, right now Tuesday shows the best chance of rain just when I plan to schedule my deliver. I might just move it up an hour or so. Looks like it is going to get late spring warm tomorrow but just for the one day. Then cool off to much more pleasant temperatures for the rest of the forecast.
Didn't make it up in time to watch the Falcon 9 launch this morning. So I just watched the replay of it. A very successful launch and first stage recovery. Seems to be so easy for them but it probably is very hard to make it look so easy. Probably the next watchable launch is the next Falcon 9 launch now scheduled for the 21st. That was part of my viewing pleasure. Also watched a number of other YouTube Videos.
Sunday is a rare day to be an eBay delivery day. Not entirely unheard of because it has happened in the past but nothing today. I did order a few more items for my transfer switch installation. I ordered the concrete anchors and the masonry bits that I need. I also order a moderately good hammer drill. Not a professional one by any means but it should get this job done and many more without worrying about it. Ordered it from Walmart though. Looking at tracking I might have one item coming in tomorrow and that is my seat cushion form. Don't think I am ever going to run out of items that I am expecting.
Tracking shows that Ashley's package should get there on Tuesday. I hope she is pleased with all the items that I sent her. My favorite it the agate bangle. At least I think it is agate. Still it looks very nice.
Has turned cold outside but I think the rain is over. My outside temperature gauge shows it to be about 60°F with 98% humidity. Officially it is 60°F and 92% humidity. Should check my rain gauge. I think I will do that now. Got three tenths of an inch. Not really sure just how much I was expecting. Really not a bad rain. And the back yard is already starting to green back up.
No lap cat tonight although twist has taken over my office chair.
Didn't do much at all today. No wood working. No project work. No house work. Should have put up the dishes but I didn't
Went out for a drive this afternoon. Just around. Still haven't got my sticker but it is nice to drive around again.
Gold is still staying mostly in the lower quarter of $1700 an ounce. Crude moved up some but didn't set a new 52 week high.
No junk calls today.
Got my Aladdin lit in my office to knock the chill off of my office. Got my oil lamp night light lit in the kitchen along with a candle.
Opened a window today to let in some fresh air. Haven't done that in a while.
