Continuing with no rain today.
Mar. 9th, 2021 10:11 pmWas another very nice day but the clouds are increasing and today was mostly cloudy. Not really distracting from the day though. Very nice temperature wise. Going to really warm up for the next four or so days with highs creeping into the low 80's. Still looking like this Sunday is going to be a promising day for some rain. Just some moderate chance after that. It is the weather so all of it is subject to change. Gary my weather expert said to expect thunderstorms possible mixed with hail but further north than here due to the high temperatures.
I was expected today to be an eBay delivery day but the one item I though might make it didn't. But I did order something so it was partially an eBay day. It will probably make it in tomorrow and it is some blank papyrus paper that I want to test in my printer and see if I can print on them. I think I can just put them in the photo tray and they will work. Don't know. Don't want to screw up my printer though. Don't have anything outstanding from any other company. Just eBay now. Pretty much seems like I am always going to be expecting something in from eBay.
I finished the last episode of Cobra Kia last night. Don't know when the next season is going to be here. Same for The Flash. Did watch some The Curse of Oak Island for viewing pleasure and more YouTube Videos. Was going to watch the launch of a Falcon 9 tonight but I see that it has been rescheduled to about 2:00 on the 11th. Really don't think I am going to stay up to watch it. Maybe if I can't sleep or wake up I will try. The next Falcon 9 launch is the 13 at time that really isn't much better. About 4:00 am. Same thing. If I wake up at that time I will try to watch it.
Nothing in the way of house work today. I guess I could say that I finally just did it and took my car in to get it inspected. That might fall under the category of house work. Been dreading doing that forever but just did it this morning. I think I got lucky and got there before they got too busy. Only took about 30 minutes or so. Just have to wait until my registration sticker is mailed to me. But I do get a registration receipt that I can show. Might get that tomorrow or Thursday. Not really sure if today counted as a business day. Looking forward to some none paranoid driving soon. I did do the saponification step today for soap making. Right now it is cooking. Should be ready for cutting about 4:00 pm tomorrow and then put up for the next three weeks. Should be good to cover my existing soap supply.
No wood working today. Don't really have a project in mind outside of just my minor projects like my boxes. got the felt in and I think I did a good job of fitting it but haven't installed it yet. Self adhesive so it might be a bit challenging to get positioned right. Thought about building a copy of an antique radio to house my computer radio but think I have decided against it. So not sure what is going to be my next project. If the weather continues like this my shop time is going to come to an end soon.
For project work today I installed one of my battery management systems on one of battery modules. Had to order some more wire splicers as the ones I have just won't fit. So until those come in I can't finish those. Still have some more work I can do on those though.
Need to start another HEB Delivery order soon. Still reasonable stocked on food.
Need to put the car up. The shop is sorted. I only used the drill press today.

Gold seems to be bouncing around the border between $1600 an ounce and $1700 an ounce. Still high. Crude dropped back a good bit today. Must make up a good bit of ground to set another 52 week high.
Got one junk call today.
No lap cat so far. Fozzy did make an appearance last night but really didn't stay long.
Going out to put up the car. I just for fun did a truck start, run, and drive tonight. Haven't driven the truck at night in a long time.
Got the car put up. Not on charge though.
Not feeling too tired tonight. Might watch some more The Curse of Oak Island before going to bed.
I have my Dietz lantern lit in my office. My oil lamp night light is lit in the kitchen. Didn't light any candles today.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
