Rain took another day off.
Mar. 8th, 2021 08:35 pmWas somewhat more cloudy than yesterday but it was still a very nice day. We have had a few of those in a row now. And it looks like they are going to continue. Might actually have to turn the air conditioner on. But have to wait. The temperatures seems to vary a lot from one day to the next. The next possible chance of rain is this Sunday. And next Monday will be the Ides of March. Looks like it might be a bit windy the next several days. Going to distribute and bring down more leaves.
My outside temperature gauge shows it to be about 61°F with 88% humidity. Officially it is 61°F with 91% humidity. Close agreement. I can get more channels for this monitor.
Today was a solid eBay day. I got two items in and ordered one more. Got something to scrub my eye lids with and some wire connectors for my battery rack project. Might get one more item in tomorrow. Really hard to tell from the tracking information. So currently I have four outstanding items that I am waiting on. My Houston Museum of Natural Science auction win should be delivered this week. I requested delivery. Don't really want to go to the museum to pick it up. Possible by Thursday. Excited to see what it looks like. Don't know what I am going to do with it.
Did some house work today. I ran the dishwasher and actually put up all the dishes. Had the kitchen actually clean for awhile. I made candles today and scented them vanilla. I made up the saponification solution for my soap and I will actually to the mixing tomorrow and put it up to cook for 24 hours then to age for three weeks. Changed out my air conditioning filter today. Really needed it too. Should do that more often.
Not just a lot on project work. Put the second buss bar on the battery rack. And I cut out two plexiglass pieces to put the battery management systems on. Kind of taking it slow the last couple of days. No wood working though. Got the shop sorted and the car put up and on charge.
Still looking at another Falcon 9 launch tomorrow just before 9:00 pm our time. Then again maybe on the 13th. Both Star Link missions.
Tonight viewing pleasure was episodes of Cobra Kia and the Curse of Oak Island. I kind of binge watched a few episodes of Cobra Kia last night. Really couldn't get to sleep so I just watched a bit of TV. And I added in a few YouTube Videos too.
Gold again dipped into the $1600 an ounce range. Down a lot for its high above $2000 an ounce. Crude backed away a bit from its new 52 week high. Guessing that gas prices have gone up. Might just make a special trip out tonight to see.
I did the truck start, run and drive today. Seems to start now on the first crank but the check engine light is on again. It goes on and off.
Need to start a new HEB Delivery order soon. Cooked tonight. And it wasn't a microwave meal. Eat a lot of those.
Got my Aladdin lit in my office. Keeping it just a little warmer than the rest of the house. Just the oil lamp night light lit in the kitchen.
My lawn company came today. Later than usual. Harvested all the leaves. Did a good job. Didn't see how much they got.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
