Enough rain today to know it did rain.
Feb. 25th, 2021 08:34 pmI think most of the rain came early in the morning because I don't think it rain during the day other than just a mist or so when I was out in the back yard. Didn't notice anything in my rain gauge. Some chance of rain during the next few days but the highest chance is next Monday. Looking at some really warm spring like temperatures for the next few day. We are having a winter of extremes. Would be nice to get some rain and lay down and listen to it on my skylight.
Today was an eBay day in the received an order category. Didn't order anything else though. This one I need to resupply one of my rituals. Got quite a number of items now yet to come in from eBay. I have been ordering again. Looking at the tracking it is possible that two of them might make it in tomorrow. And now I have one item coming from Amazon. I though I would set up my old record player and play a few of my old records. Opening the box I noted that something like oil had dripped on the plastic cover. So I clean that off. Then the antislip mat was also covered in oil. And curled badly. When I tried to press it back down it broke!! So I guess all of the oil had just flowed out of the antislip mat. Found a replacement on Amazon and ordered it but I have to cut two slots in it to make it match the old one. Not sure if I could have found an exact replacement. I have made a template to locate the cut outs so shouldn't be too hard to duplicate. I did a search and really can't find the exact antislip mat so I will just modify a universal one. Should work just as well.
No project work today although I plan to modify my light towers to have a double switch so they can either power the lights or some other 12 volt load. Don't really want to have two DC power supplies for each tower.
Housework was pretty minimal. I Vacuumed my bedroom. And I did clean and put away all my used dishes too. Trying to do that every morning.
For wood working I made the template to modify the universal antislip mat when it comes in.
Got the shop put up. Didn't get very much out and got the car put back up but not on charge.
No lap cat tonight. Not sure where Fozzy is. Usually a lap visitor but not for the past few nights.
Well, tomorrow is cheese sandwich day but because of the circumstance I don't have any bread outside of the cinnamon bread and I don't think that will make a good cheese sandwich. So I am going to have to forgo the tradition tomorrow. Looks like I still can't get any. Maybe by next Friday.
Got to check for a premium channel free preview weekend tonight. Usually try to do that on Thursday after midnight but mostly I don't.
Gold fell back again today. Getting close to the middle of $1700 an ounce. Crude didn't make a new 52 week high today but came close. Have to check the next time out and see what gas prices are doing.
Still looking at February 28th as the next launch I can possible watch. A falcon 9. Star link is now available in my area for sign up. Great speeds. Going to stay with my AT&T.
Got my old Aladdin lamp lit in my office. Keep it just a bit warmer in here. The night light oil lamp and a candle are lit in the kitchen. Tracking are showing my candle scents coming in this Friday. My next batch will have scents. Might have waited on some of them to pour until I got my scents in but didn't think about that.
I went outside tonight mostly for a break and saw that the moon already looks very full and bright. The official full moon is still two days away though. Still a big beautiful moon in the night sky. Some thin clouds were rushing past it.

Don't think I am going to put out a recycle bin this Friday. Don't have near enough. No trash bin either.
Viewing pleasure for tonight was the continuing adventures of The Flash along with multiple YouTube Video's.
Made a new perch for the cats in front of the Living room window. Both seem to like it. Cats like high places.
Tired tonight.
No bills paid today. Still have my car and home owners insurance to pay. Expensive. Got to have it though. Not due until next month.
Did order a copy of TurboTax. Forgot to mention that above. Been using another Tax program. I'm pretty sure this will import the data from that one. Worth the price. Use to do taxes by hand but it seems like it was simpler then. I think I have all the forms I need now either printed or on line.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
