Today was a mostly cloudy day with some sunshine breaking through. I think we had a few sprinkles early in the day. I thought the concrete looked damp and I thought I saw some drops on my cars windshield. Some signs of rain. The rain picture seems to change by the minute. Now it looks like we are going to get rain in the morning and in the evening tomorrow. Followed by many days of an increased rain chance. Temperatures are still looking on the moderate to actually warm side. It got to 80°F in the house today but I didn't turn on the air conditioner. The fired heater still hasn't turned on and might not turn on at all tonight. Tomorrow is going to be a little cooler but still plenty warm. The weather has been most strange.
Was an eBay day today. Nothing was delivered but I did order two new things today. A battery management for the other three battery packs and some more power cable. Didn't have any #10 AWG and I thought that would be plenty for my battery packs. Got four of them so no single one is going to be delivering that type of amps. I will wire from the buss with a bigger power cable though. Tracking shows I might get one item in tomorrow from eBay with maybe another on Friday and then more on Saturday. Looking further I might actually get the new burner for my other lamp. Might make it Saturday and that will clear a lot of items of off my wait list. Still don't know when I am going to get the one from Rockler. Really haven't looked for an update in a while.
For housework today I cleaned up the kitchen and put all my used dishes into the dishwasher. Mopped some and cleaned off the top of the stove. Got a nice looking kitchen. A never ended task to keep it clean. I also sorted, folded and put away my load of whites. Was going to get in sort of my receiving bed room and clean it up. Got in there to start but most have got distracted and didn't really do anything.
I redid the splice to my solar panels and made it look a lot more professional and sanitary. That was about the extent of my project work.
For wood working I made the pattern for my six sided box and cut a bottom from it. Exact match of the pattern and I knew it wasn't a perfect fit but it does look good. This is just my proto type box to work out a few things. I still don't know why my measurement didn't work but I think I have a way to avoid it. Just going to have to label everything and keep it in some kind of project box. Test fit it but haven't made a permanent installation. Thinking I want to try a seven sided box too. Probably going to give the proto type box to Ashley. Some things to work out better if I am really going to make more of these. Something to do with all the scrap.
Tired tonight but it seems like I always am.
And for the gold and crude report. Gold is trading just at $1800 an ounce. My guess is that it is going to drop further. Crude set a new 52 week high today. Got to check gas prices again to see how much they have gone up. Crude seems to be gaining some almost every day.
Tonight's viewing pleasure was more of the remaining few episodes of the Flash with just a bit of NOVA. Added a few YouTube videos too.
Now to check the launch schedule. Still looking to February 28 for the next Falcon 9 launch as the next one I can possible watch.
No bills paid today. I need to sort out my insurance soon and pay that. Big bill. Largest next to my property tax.
Doesn't seem to be any desire to be a lap cat. No lap cat yesterday or tonight. Fozzy I guess has found something more comfortable.
Got the shop sorted. Didn't really get out much today. Mostly just my router table. So got that put up and the car in the garage. Got it on Charge.
Still haven't put the back on my cabinet. I want to paint it black but don't have any black paint. I do like my new pin nailer. Just works nice. I know it would be extremely painful if I didn't watch my fingers while using it. And it wouldn't slow down a bit.
Ashley is investing money. Wonder how she is doing. Her birthday will be soon.
Probably not have enough to put out Recycling this Friday.
Got one junk call today. Don't remember if I got any yesterday.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
