I just assume there is some rain in my rain gauge since it did rain this morning. Don't really know how much as I have yet to check my rain gauge. My guess is about two tenths of an inch. I will try to check in just a little while. Was actually a nice day and really wasn't cold enough to stop me from putting some time in the shop although not as much as I usually do. I was doing a few odds and ends around the house too today.
The forecast does show a increase in rain chance for the early morning hours. Not all that high but it could still get rain. My outdoor temperature gauge says it is about 50°F with 80% humidity. Officially it is 49°F with 80% humidity so very close. Seems to be in good agreement tonight. Sometimes it is. Still forecast to turn cold at the end of next week but not nearly as cold as they were forecasting. Down to 30°F for one night but after that it warms up nicely. Still going to have a number of relatively warm days that are going to be good for working in the shop. The next kind of chance of rain is on next Wednesday with a higher chance on Thursday.
Not an eBay day in either category today. I didn't get anything in or order anything. Checking the tracking I might get my tent poles in tomorrow but that looks to be about it. The doors coming in surprised me because the tracking showed nothing. Maybe the Maxbright Aladdin will do the same thing. Still waiting on it. Haven't open my doors yet.
Not much in the way of housework today. I did vacuum part of the den mostly to remove the saw dust from working on the cabinet in there. I did do few shirts. Just wanted to do those few to I could hang them up again. Got them in the Laundry closet. Should clean up the kitchen. Maybe tomorrow.
I cut up several old boxes and added them to my paper recycle and put them out tonight with my other paper. I put out my old kitty litter plastic buckets too. Also some scrap for the scrap guy but I just checked and it is still out there. If he doesn't make it by bed time I will just put it back on the porch and maybe try again next week. Didn't put out my trash bin tonight. Not nearly full so I want to wait on it.
For project work tonight I redid my solar panels and hooked them up so I would have 400 Watts going to my current 24 volt system. I think tomorrow I will put out two more panels and use my new branch connector and hook up 600 Watts to the current 24 volt system.
I just checked the rain total for the day and it is just somewhat less than two tenths.
Now for the wood working part. I managed to get the top installed on the Entertainment center. Didn't really do any more work on it. Tomorrow I am going to try to finish the drawers as I now have the bits I need to do that. Going to take awhile to set up for the cuts but after that it should go quickly. I cut some more pieces for the Battery module case and got one of the dust frames built and another one almost done. Will do some work on that tomorrow too.
Gold moved above $1800 an ounce again. Crude is continuing to move up at a rather good pace. Set another 52 week high today meaning it is really a recent high but still moving up. I might check the gas price and a few near by stations when I go out to put the car up and check the mail.
Did the cheese sandwich tradition today. Always like my cheese sandwich on Friday. Did do the premium channel free preview weekend and we aren't having one. Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday. Still really don't know who is playing. Todays viewing pleasure was YouTube videos.
The next scheduled launch is the 12th. Falcon 9. There may be one sooner but it doesn't show a date for it.
No bills paid today and got two junk calls. Fozzy hasn't made it to lap cat status yet but probably will before the night is over.
Put up the car and checked the gas prices. None had gone up since last time but with the recent jump in crude price I suspect they will go up soon.
Opened my pin nailer today along with the thin wood that I ordered to reinforce joints on multisided boxes.
Order some pecan pie with my last HEB Delivery. Make up for missing it all year. A whole pie all to myself and it is very good.
The scrap guy hasn't come yet. Going to bed in just a few more minutes so I will bring it up to the porch and try again next week.
