About 7 tenths of an inch today.

We got a decent rain today although it fell in a relatively short period of time. My rain gauge showed about seven tenths of an inch and probably got than in about 30 minutes. Rain was heavy for a while but the front or whatever it was passed through rather quickly. Next chance of rain looks like it is going to be this Sunday. And not much in further rain chance showing after that. It is the weather and always subject to change. Going to turn moderately cold for the next week or so and then warm up a bit. Might be time to finish filing for 2020. And create folders for my income tax. My outdoor thermometer shows it to be about 49°F at the moment. Kind of cold. Officially it is 52°F. Says it is only going to get down to about 45°F tonight so not too bad. So far it has been a mild winter and looking at the forecast it seems like it is going to continue for at least a little while.

Today was whole not an eBay day. Don't think I got anything in but I haven't checked the mail yet. Didn't order anything either. Nothing arrived from any other company either. Only really expected items from Rockler now and eBay. Tracking from what I can see doesn't show anything coming in. Probably going to be an inside day tomorrow anyway. Might brave the shop for short periods to do some sanding but I don't expect to do much else.

The tent wasn't up today and probably would have been soaked inside judging by the rain. Probably won't put it up for awhile. Looks to be too cold for the next week or so.

Gold fell back to trading in the lower part of $1900 an ounce. I think crude made another recent high today. Moving up well. Making up some ground now towards its high for the year.

My HEB delivery order is set for tomorrow. Still have tonight to add items but I can't think of any so probably won't add anything else. My usual time between 2:00 and 3:00. That usually means it shows up about 2:01 or so. They are very prompt. I have only had one late deliver and that was during a very wet and cold day. I always forget something. Still have a decent supply but just don't want to cut it two close. Got my vanilla ice cream coming in tomorrow. Forgot that last time.

For house cleaning today I vacuumed my bedroom and sorted, folder and put away my load of whites. I went through my old white running t-shirts and retired a few. Don't know what I am going to do with them. They had become a little thread bare. Still have some good ones though. I do want to run one more 5K. I could probably do that now. I also took some of the aluminum cans stored in the attic and will add them to the recycle I put out in Friday night. Was being store for a project that I am no longer going to do. So don't want to be tempted. Also took the remnants of my old computer chair down and going to add some of the wood to my scrap pile. Some of it is useable. Some really not.

I think I mentioned I am going to put out part of an old project that isn't really practical anymore and see if the scrap guy will pick it up when he makes his rounds Friday night. About time it goes.

Fozzy is being a dedicated lap cat tonight. Looks comfortable enough in my lap.

Got the shop already sorted and ready for the car. I brought the coffee table inside so I could epoxy in the bolts for the legs. Don't have them all cut but I will install what I have. The epoxy takes forever to set so want to do it tonight.

For wood working I got another skirt board installed and did a bit of sanding. Had more planned but didn't get to it as usual. Got to get the planner out to get the last piece of the skirt board installed. Getting really close on finishing the coffee table. Also cut the slot to support the marble inserts. I think the way I chose to do it is going to work fine. Took a little effort to get the router adjusted just right but seems to have worked fine. Test fit everything and it looks good. Got to be careful cutting the support strips though. How I got hurt once before.

Didn't really do any project work other than putting a battery pack on charge. Probably finished by now. Need to check before I go to bed. Might start to do some work on my fun computer project tomorrow or at least think about it a bit more. Should be fun and amusing.

Continued with my episodes of the Flash for viewing pleasure with the addition of The Curse of Oak Island too. Of course there was some YouTube vides mixing in there too.

Got my ceramic lamp lit in my office. My oil night light and a candle lit in the kitchen.

Paid a paperless bill today. Don't seem to get any more paper bills anymore so I think I have them all converted to paperless now. I just pay them as they show up in email. Easy way not to forget about them. Going to make my future filing easier. Might do some more of that tomorrow. Still have a stack I need to get through.

Watched a replay of the Starship S9 do a static fire. Only lasted about a second. There is a Falcon 9 scheduled for launch tomorrow starting at about 7:28 out time.

I still need to put the car up. Will do that in just a little while.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
