Heavy dew but no rain.

Sometimes I think as heavy as the dews can be here it ought to qualify as rain. Last night seemed to be a really heavy dewfall. The outside of the tent was just covered in dew drops. I guess it is somewhat water proof but I can see the drops on the inside of the tent too. I guess they just soak through but they don't seem to grow large enough to fall. Still looking at this Wednesday for the next rain chance. It looks like it might start early Wednesday morning so I will have to take the tent down tomorrow night. Got lots of blankets out there now that I will have to bring in. My outside temperature gauged shows it to be about 52°F outside. Officially 53°F. Pretty close. Humidity says 99% so might get a heavy dewfall or fog tonight. The official weather doesn't say. Looks like the end of the nice warm days might be coming to an end on Thursday. Even then it doesn't look like it is going to get that cold. Still staying about freezing.

Not an eBay day today and didn't order anything either. Kind of a rare day even there are a few things I do need to order but going to wait on them. Today I did get my kerosene in from Home Depot. So one less thing outstanding. Can't really tell if anything is coming in tomorrow. Tracking does show my Lehman's order getting here on Thursday. Slowly clearing all of my orders. Still have outstanding items from Rockler and eBay. I see so many delivery trucks in the neighbor. I know I must bring my fair share of those.

Lawn company didn't come today. Didn't really expect them too. Grass has mostly gone dormant. I think they try to come every other week now. I got two junk calls today after going most of last week and not getting any. I guess their holidays are over too. Probably get more tomorrow.

Now have Fozzy in my lap. Earlier Twist was in my lap for a good long time.

Tonight was back to episodes of the Flash and as usual added in more YouTube videos. I was thinking the Curse of Oak Island was on tonight but today isn't Tuesday.

No project work today or housework either. I meant to put the dishes up but didn't. I did do the truck start, run and drive today. Adding the rest of the generator gasoline got the truck back up to about three quarters full. That should last me awhile longer on my truck runs.

Gold has moved pretty solidly again into $1900 an ounce territory. Crude fell back just a bit more after its recent rise and bringing gas prices along with it.

Did spend some time in my tent. Can't really seem to get warm enough. I think the concrete just drains the heat. Need something else there.

Did a good amount of wood working but never get done what my head plans. Did finish the second leg but didn't get it sanded. Got one piece of skirt board installed and one more sized. Should at least get that installed tomorrow. And maybe finish the sanding on the second leg. Got to fill some holes with epoxy wood filler. I need to find some more catalyst though but I can't think of what it is called.

Got the shop sorted early tonight and got the car put up and on charge.

Need to renew my membership to the Houston Museum of Natural Science.

No bills paid today.

Didn't file any more of my papers today. Save it for a cold day. Still have a good number of one off items to file. Still think it is less than in years past.

Tomorrow is January 5th. Days.

Probably need to replace the battery in my mouse. Blinking red.

Took down my wreath and my stockings. Christmas is over.

Year of the Ox in the Chinese calendar.

Got my night light oil lamp lit in my office. Will move it back to the kitchen. I have my ceramic lamp lit in my office knocking a bit of edge of the cold back here. Rather keeping it a bit warmer than the rest of the house. Refilled my night light. Getting low. Got seven and a half gallons of kerosene now.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
