Boxing day with no rain.

The day after Christmas and it was a rain free day. Looks like it is going to stay rain free until about Wednesday when the rain chance goes way up. It looks like a cold front is going to move through since the temperature really drops on Thursday. The next several days look to be very nice. Temperatures in the mid 70's. And the night time temperatures are going to be quite mild too. At least until Wednesday when they will turn cold again. New Years eve looks like it might be a bit nippy. Not too bad though. I have been hearing fireworks go off most all day long. Was thinking about creating my own mini-display using just sparklers. And maybe throw in some falling leaf fuse to add a bit more color. I have a lot of it and it is about the only fuse that burns hot enough to light sparklers. Don't think I will use my ignitors this time. Just light it by hand. Or maybe just set it up so it will only need one ignitor. At about a dollar a piece I don't want to use too many of them. Don't know if I will ever use them for a real fireworks show again though.

Today was an eBay day. Got one item in and had just one outstanding item left to come in but I kind of broke down and ordered another item on eBay even after I said I was going to wait until I had cleared all my other orders. I decided I need it to finish a project so I ordered it. So now I have two items coming from eBay, two items from a non-eBay company and two items coming in from Lehman's Non-Electric. I think one of the non-eBay items will be in next week along with one of the outstanding eBay items. Can't find any tracking information on the Lehman's order so I don't know when they will be coming. Not for projects. Just some I want items.

Put the tent back up today but haven't been in it tonight. A little cold to be outside. My outside temperature gauge shows about 53°F. Officially it is 56°F.

Kind of by definition I didn't really do any wood working today in that I didn't cut any wood. Well I did do a lot of sanding so I think that qualifies. I sanded the table top through 220 grit along with the skirt boards. Still have to go through 400 grit yet. Got a start on the table legs. Going to be slow going to get everything to align property and assembled in the correct order. Looking decent enough so far. Should get close to finishing one leg tomorrow and getting the table mount ready. That is what is planned but as usually I never seem to make it that far. Not sure how I am going to finish my coffee table. Looks really nice just natural. I might chose a really light stain.

Even did some housework today. Cleaned up the Kitchen and microwave today. Got a fuse back in the over oven microwave that is really fried except the clock still works. And that is what I wanted to see again. Just have to be careful and not actually turn on the microwave. Folded up and put away my load of whites and put a load of t-shirts through the washing machine and into the dryer. Still need to hang them up.

Got the shop sorted and in shape enough to put the car up. Put it on charge last night and now it is charged to 90% which is where I set the limit. Will put the car up later.

Gold and Crude didn't trade today so nothing here tonight.

Worked on my HEB order just a bit last night. Might do some more tonight.

The lawn company didn't come this week. At least I don't think they did. I don't seem to remember. I did get their bill today so I will have to write a check and mail it the old fashion way. One of the few bills I still pay that way. I still have to pay my property tax. Outside of my insurance that is about the biggest bill I pay. Thinking this month I may have actually lived within my paycheck. Really rare to due that. Can't often do that.

Fozzy is my lap cat at the moment.

Got my trash bin and recycle bin out today. Both were full. Put out some card board boxes too.

Did the truck start, run and drive. Probably going to put all but a gallon or so of my generator gasoline into the truck tank but save a gallon or so out just incase we lose power and I need to keep the refrigerator on.

Still haven't checked the free preview thing yet. Just did and nothing this weekend.

And now it is the 27 of December. Days.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
