Rainless day today.

Was a very nice day for late in December. Very mild temperature. Kind of the reason to spend winters here. Generally really mild and so far it has been nice. Quite opposite of the summers here which are reasons not to live here. Still looks like a decent chance of rain on Wednesday. Except for about three rather cool days it looks like the entire month of December is going to be relatively mild. Good shop weather and I have been taking advantage of it. Some on the edge of being a bit too cool but I am managing. Once I get started and moving around in my shop I just don't tend to notice unless my hands get cold and then I pretty much give up and come back inside. The shop is a mess tonight. Going to take a while to sort it out to put up the car. I will do it later. Fortunately, I don't have a bed time or any set time to get up although I don't really want to sleep too late.

December still shows more days with a decent chance of rain. Going to be a bit different from October and November. Fireworks sales have started so will keep things from getting to dry.

I am going to drop the launch report for the rest of the year. Doesn't look like anything I can actually watch and only about two scheduled. So maybe after the new year things will pick back up. So for now no more launch watch.

Today was a prime eBay day. I got four items in. Don't think it is a record but has to be close. Still have one of my auction bangles yet to come in. Got one in today. Got a project related item, something I wanted and a replacement item for one I broke. Not sure if I will get anything in tomorrow. Nothing in the tracking looks promising. I still have a couple of non-eBay companies I am expecting items from though. Slowly clearing up the back log of items I am waiting on.

I did a good bit of wood working. I fitting the skirt to my blanket chest. I knew that was going to be an exorcise in patience to get that to fit close enough. I finally did get it all fitted. I just have to make the cut outs in the skirt boards tomorrow. I have that down to a science almost so hopefully that will go smoothly. Then I need to sand everything well before putting it all together. Not sure exactly how I am going to stain and finish. Thinking about getting it all put together and then do the stain and finish. Maybe in the next day or two I can finish it. Kind of my Christmas present except I don't have the right hinge for it or enough material to finish the bottom. Don't know if I am going to line it with felt or cedar. Something to decide later.

Didn't add anything to my HEB delivery order. Still have tomorrow and tonight to do that if I can think of anything else. Will just go through my stores and see what I am low on.

Did spent a bit of time out in my tent today but haven't been out there tonight. Might sneak out there for a few minutes. So no sounds of the night. My outdoor temperature gauge shows about 50°F and 90% humidity so probably getting a dew fall outside tonight.

Picked back up on watching The Flash tonight for my viewing pleasure along with the usual assortment of You Tube videos. Tomorrow is the Curse of Oak Island.

Fozzy made an appearance and a lap cat today.

Gold didn't make it above $1900 an ounce. Crude fell back a bit from its high yesterday. Still higher than it had been.

Don't have my Aladdin in my office lit tonight. I do have my oil lamp night light and two candles burning. I got my order of 10 pounds of soy wax so I will be making more soon. Just want to order some candle scent first. Do like to have candles burning.

Didn't do any project work tonight. Did get an item I needed in from eBay so I can move forward on one project. Got items to work on another. I need to build a buss bar. Got everything now that I need to do that. Just going to have to wait on it for awhile as it is for my solar center. Kind of in limbo at the moment since the panels are shaded there is no hurry to do it.

Did do some housework today. Put the dishes away and have been going through the house gathering items I no longer need or can combine. Just making another pass through the house doing some organizing. Probably have an overflowing recycle bin this weekend. Just hard to believe that Christmas is just four days away. Days. Don't think I did any vacuuming today. Going to have to pause soon and sort out the shop. Might go for a short drive to check prices. And maybe around the neighborhood to look at the Christmas lights.
