Dew fall tonight but no rain today.

Finally did put up the tent again and it does fit on the porch but pretty much takes up the entire space. No rain today but while out in my tent tonight I did notice that the dew had fallen. I could see it on my tent. No rain at all today but we are getting a dew fall. Next chanced of rain is Wednesday and the temperatures look like they are going to be rather pleasant for the next several days getting into the 70's before turning cold for single day on Thursday and warming up again. The Christmas eve and Christmas day forecast calls for no rain and mild temperatures. Been an unusually warm December I think. Not going to have a white Christmas like we did one year. Was cold out in my tent tonight. My blanket did a fair job of keeping me warm but still started to get a bit cold but it was time to come in. I have my Aladdin lit in my office keeping it nice and warm in here. I finally moved my temperature gauge outside and it shows 46°F. Official temperature is 49°F.

Get out of order a bit tonight. Gold got close to $1900 an ounce but fell back. Crude fell back a good bit today falling back from its recent high. Tonight's viewing pleasure for just probably tonight was not episodes of the Flash. I watched some Curse of Oak Island and just a little of Gold Rush. Don't seem to watch just a lot of TV any more but I guess I make up for it by watching YouTube videos.

Did the truck run, start and drive today. Been four days since I last did that but didn't want to get out in the rain yesterday. Will probably wait until Wednesday to do it again.

Tomorrow is the winter solstice and Christmas is next week too. Really seemed to sneak up on me this year. Then December will be pretty much over. New years is the following week. While I was out in my tent I heard what I originally thought were gun shots but them realized that firework sales for the new year had probably already started. So I checked Google and sure enough firework sales started today. I could hear the occasion one my entire time in the tent. Sounded far off though. None really close but I imagine that will change.

Finally released my HEB delivery order for Wednesday. Still have plenty of time to add any items that I decide I need or want. I had something in mind to add but can't remember what it was now. My usual time between 2:00 and 3:00. They are always pretty prompt. Usually getting there within a few minutes of 2:00.

I guess twist could be considered my almost lap cat tonight. He has fallen asleep on my desk behind my monitor. He has never done that before but he looks comfortable. Curled up among the cables. Doesn't seem to mind. My first cat love to sleep on top of my crt monitor. I guess she liked the warmth. One of the draw backs of computer monitors these days. Cats can't sleep on them.

Already got the shop sorted tonight. Did that earlier but haven't put the car up yet. Did a good bit of wood working today. Got the body of my coffee table finished. Haven't installed the trim yet. I want to see what a bit will do with my 1" oak stock before I try to install it. Drew an exploded view of the legs and got all the measurements. I will probably start cutting out the legs tomorrow. I think I am going to have to do some more planning to get enough wood. My stock of rough cut oak seems to have disappeared rather quickly. I will have used three of the planks on this project. I am pretty sure my next project will use up one more my remaining planks. Had them forever so it is time that I actually used them to build with. Didn't do any more work on my blanket chest. Today I got close to what my head had planned but didn't get all the way through it though. Just do what I can.

Did a little project work. Finished putting the connectors on my ribbon cable and then installed it on my battery pack. Need a battery management system for them but I think I will just swap out with the one I do have to charge and use them. I have so much stuff outstanding. Don't want to order anything else to things catch up.

No eBay day today. Didn't order anything but looked at ordering a new table saw blade. I suspect going by tracking that tomorrow might be a heavy eBay day. I think I will get at least one of the remaining bangles in tomorrow. Or maybe nothing at all. Tracking information can be that way.

Did clean the kitchen and run the dishwasher. Still haven't put them up though. Also did just a bit of vacuuming. Need to do a little every day. Track in enough from my shop. Also swept out my shop of the saw dust. Not really wood working.

Kind of looks like there won't be any more rocket launches to watch for the remainder of the year. No Falcon 9 launches.

Going to have to put the car up before I go to bed.

Going to be coming up on time to sort all of my documents for the year. Don't think I have nearly as much as I did last year. Still have a bit to go threw and shred all the old documents.

Got two candles lit, my night light oil lamp and my stand by oil lamp. Plus the Aladdin I have lit in my office. My Aladdin has it a bit too warm in here. Had to turn it off and open the door. I think I will take a break and put my car up. Cold outside. Got the car put up and it is cold outside. Seems like most of my driving recently has been backing the car out of the garage and putting it back in the garage. Next car will be an electric. Haven't put a lot of miles on this one.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
