Rain wasn't here today.
Dec. 10th, 2020 10:06 pmStill not a surprise as no rain was forecast like the past few days. Still a very pleasant day outside. Mild temperature and lot of sunshine. Although it looks like things may change tomorrow. Rain is in the forecast starting about mid morning and it looks like it is going to last all day. Still looks like the temperature is going to be nice. The rest of the forecast shows what looks like only a few days that could even be considered to be cold. Looks like very moderate temperatures for the entire month. At least all that is shown by the current forecast. Night times lows don't look all that cold either. Looks like December might be a pretty moderate month as far as temperatures go.
Today was an eBay day. Got one item in but didn't order anything. At least what I can see on the tracking it doesn't look like anything is going to come in tomorrow. Checking the non-eBay companies it doesn't look like anything is coming in that way either. Did order some more soap making supplies. I think I have enough to make one more batch but not near enough to make any more.
Didn't get anything out in the shop today so I won't need to take a break to sort out the shop. Car is already put up. Probably get out there and double up on woodworking tomorrow though. Finally got the tool in I need to finish the top. And finally finished doing the finish on the main case today. Got that done. Still have a good bit of work to do fitting and finishing the skirt though. The top needs a bit of work but hopefully won't be as much trouble to fit and finish as the skirt.
Been thinking about my next woodworking project too and starting on the drawing tonight. Should be far less complicated than my blanket chest.
Got my HEB delivery order in today right on time. Had to be exactly 2:00. Got that all sorted and put away. Probably good now for at least another 10 days or so. Got bread in today so I am good for tomorrows cheese sandwich day. I had completely run out so this delivery was very timely. Got to have my cheese sandwich.
Almost watched the live launch of the Delta 4 heavy. Was about 30 seconds or so late but I just scrolled back just a bit and watched it launch. Almost as good as live. Maybe two launches tomorrow. A Falcon 9 and a Rocket 3.2. The Falcon 9 is at about 10:20 tomorrow. Can't sleep too late tomorrow. Want to get to breakfast before the launch.
Didn't put up the tent today so no sounds of the night. Knew with the high chance of rain I would have to take it down again tonight. Since Sunday also has a high chance of rain I probably won't put it up until next week some time.
Tonight's viewing pleasure was more of The Flash and of course more YouTube videos. Also watched just a bit of The Curse of Oak Island before going to bed last night.

Gold is still trading in the range of $1800 an ounce. It looks like crude made a nice move up today. Don't know if it made it past its recent high or not but must be getting close. Still has a ways to go before getting above its one year high.
I think I got at least one junk call today. Don't pay much attention but I do seem to remember one.
Got my night light oil lamp lit and have been burning candles. No incense though.
Although I doubt it will be but I will check anyway to see if this is a premium channel free preview weekend. Two weekends ago was a massive one so I don't think this will be one.
Did just a tiny bit of project work today. Hooked up a load to the 12 volt buss on my solar center. Also did some housework. Cleaned up the kitchen and got just about all the dishes into the dishwasher and got that run. Had just a couple that wouldn't fit. Will be in the next run.
Plan to put out my trash bin tomorrow. Going to some more work cleaning up the shop and add that to the Trash bin. Don't have enough in my recycle bin to put that out just yet.
Both Fozzy and twist have been lap cats today. Fozzy takes action and Twist is just an opportunist. Nice to have them both. Even as brothers they both have distinct personalities.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
