Such a nice day even with no rain.

Really couldn't have gotten a nicer day. It was just about wonderful outside. Sunny and mild. Just about the perfect temperature. And we didn't get any rain. But none was forecast. At least the no rain item is scheduled to change on Friday. A very high chance of rain and a decent chance of rain on both Saturday and Sunday. Going to be nice temperature wise for the rest of the week and really temperatures aren't going to be all that cold for the rest of the two week forecast. Looks pretty mild with a few day with a decent chance of rain. Looks like December might be considerably wetter than November although that really won't take much as November was really dry.

Don't know if this was an eBay day or not. I haven't checked the mail yet but I wasn't expecting anything today but I did order another tool that should make my life easier and more accurate. So I am going to have to wait on it to see if it works now to complete my blanket chest. Should have one tool in on Thursday so maybe on Friday I can finish the top of my blanket chest. Got two sides of my blanket chest completely finished. I should finish one more side tomorrow. Got started on the skirt. A lot of work and a challenge to fit properly. Waiting on tools to do that. Should be nice. Thought after the fact though that it might have been ok to leave it just with an oil finish. Maybe next time. I will check my mail when I go out to put the car up. Got to sort the shop out tonight too before I can get the car put up.

Tuned in to watch the Star Ship do its short test flight but was scrubbed with just 1.something seconds left on the count down timer. Don't know what went wrong but they will try again tomorrow. Really interested to see if it work. A really big step in rocketry for SpaceX. Do want to watch it but there is no definite launch time. Just have to keep checking in during the day. The next massive launch of maybe four rockets is scheduled for the 10th. Rocket launch overload.

Did just a tiny bit of project work today. Solder some connectors. Not much. Still have a few things I want to do on my projects including my light sequencer. Next project should be my new coffee table for my den. Need to take a lot of measurements and actually do a plan before I start. Have to get my planner out and plane some of my rough cut oak. Takes time but I have had that on hand for years and it is probably about time I built something out of it. Don't know if I can get more but I think I would rather start with 4s wood. I think I need to put new blades on my planer. I have a set but not sure how to replace them. I guess like most everything else I won't know how until I try.

I didn't put up my tent today so no sounds of the night. Was a nice day today and should be even nicer tomorrow. Seems that my shop and projects are keeping me busy. I didn't really do any house work today. I did move some things from one book case to the other. Don't really think that counts has house work though.

Tonight's viewing pleasure was the continuing adventures and episodes of The Flash. Need to watch The Curse of Oak Island. Plus I did watch my YouTube videos.

Gold moved up closer to $1900 an ounce and crude is just about holding steady. Even though crude prices have risen a good bit these past few weeks gas prices are still about the same.

No incense today. Do have my candle and oil lamp lit though. Playing with some of the lanterns I have collected. Fozzy did visit my lap for just a moment but I was about to get up.

Need to put the car back on charge tonight. Didn't finish charging last night before I backed the car out. Probably need to put out my trash bin again this Friday. Don't have enough to put out my recycle bin.

Listened to Forever Autumn by the Moody blues. I listened to this song over and over again on the flight to Saudi Arabia as the music was on a loop. Thought about my first love as this song reminds me so much of her. And what finally happened to us. Going to Saudi Arabia was so long ago and such a big part of my life. Something now after everything I don't regret going. My life is far richer and expanded because I did go.

Need to take a break and sort out the shop.

Got the shop sorted and the car put up and put it on Charge. Cold out. My gauge says it is about 46°F outside. The official temperature say 47°F. Close enough. There is going to be some variance. And after midnight so just like that today is December 9th. The ides of December is on the 13th. The next full moon is on December 29th.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
