Oh yes, it did rain today.

Not sure it would really qualify as a rain. More like just a light drizzle. I haven't checked but I can imagine I don't have enough in my rain gauge to measure. I was out in my tent during part of it. Just really a light drizzle but it was rain. I think we just caught the edge of a storm cell passing by. There is a moderate chance of rain starting at about 9:00 am and lasting for a few hours. It is a higher chance of rain than I think we have had all month. And then nothing for about a week except that it looks like some cooler temperatures are in store for us. My air conditioner did turn on today. It does look like I still won't be switching back to the fired heater too soon. Just not fall weather.

Today was an eBay day. I got one item in and I placed an order for another one. So it was a complete eBay day. Now I still have one outstanding eBay item and one other item I am waiting on. It was a project item I got in today. Not really sure if it will work but I think it will.

Didn't spend as much time as yesterday out in my shop but got a little bit more done. One of the steps that kind of scare me in regards to wood working. I should finish it tomorrow. I have been thinking about what my next project should be. And I think it is going to be a new coffee table for the den. A long time in coming as I had intended to build a coffee table to match my end tables and that was a long time ago. So I guess it is about time I did that project. It isn't going to be anything fancy but it will be made from solid oak. I still have a good supply of oak. Some still that is rough cut. Thinking to save that for project that need longer boards. It does take a bit longer to dress and cut my rough cut lumber.

I had my cheese sandwiched today. Always good. Fozzy was the lap cat today. Delayed dinner for him so he could get a longer nap. And no incense today.

Got I think at least three junk calls today. Maybe four. Not sure.

Watched the launch of the Atlas 5 rocket. The Crew dragon scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed until Sunday due to the weather in the Atlantic. This one should be well covered. Going to launch 4 astronauts on a Falcon 9. Got to pause to put up my car. Got the garage straightened up and got my car put up.

No project work today but I did clean up my kitchen and run the dishwasher. Finally folded and put away my load of whites. Cleaned up an accident from one of my cats. Was a good day for house work. Plan to even do some vacuuming tomorrow. Really need to straighten up my project table too.

Viewing pleasure tonight was more of The Flash along with my assortment of YouTube videos. This weekend is not a premium channel free preview weekend.

Need to work on my HEB Delivery order probably tomorrow and release it. Might do some on it tonight.

Nothing to add to the usually sounds of the night. Peaceful in my tent.

Gold move up to trade close to $1900 an ounce. Crude fell back a bit more from it recent rise in price. A better selection of platinum coins tonight. I think I counted 4 maybe 5 different coins available. Maybe and slowly supply is catching up with demand. Doesn't look like the price of platinum has gone up much if any.

Put my plastics and metal recycle bin out tonight. Just almost full but certainly would not have made it another week.

Paid a paperless bill today. I think I have converted just about all of them over to that. Kind of nice with no paper do sort and file at the end of the year. I guess I could just move all of the bills over to something like a USB drive and keep them all like that and not have my filling cabinet.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
