Rain didn't happen today.
Just like every other day this month so far. No rain. Now looking at the forecast they have posted a higher chance of rain on Monday but that is about it for the rest of the forecast. Doesn't look like this Autumn heat wave is going away either. Temperatures are still going to be somewhat warmer than normal I think. The temperature in the house didn't quite make it to the air conditioner set point today. So far that has been the case but don't know about the next few days. About the closest we are getting to rain is the heavy dew falls.
Went out for a drive tonight. I was just going to put the car up after working in the shop but decided just to take a short drive too. I was thinking about putting up Christmas lights this year. Kind of after all that is why I was building my light sequencer. Would be nice just to experiment a bit with lights and my sequencer. I have seen some really spectacular light shows on YouTube videos and pretty much sure I have a long long way to go before I could come close to those. Just don't have the technology to do anything similar. Mine will just flash strings of light either 50 or 100 mini lights at a time. And this would just be a learning experience. Might get a little bit more expansive with a bit more learning. But I just kind of what to have fun with it.
I finished one wood working project today. Actually came close. I don't have any more of the last grit of sand paper to really finish so I just used what I had left and got as close as I could. Still looks good. Also did some work on my blanket chest. Cut some more wood for it but still have a ways to go but the first time I have actually worked on it since the end of wood working season.
Gold and crude didn't trade today so can't say anything about them. Gas prices seem stable though. I haven't notice any changes in any of the stations that I check.
I forgot about the scheduled rocket launch today but it was delayed anyway so I didn't miss it. The launch was rescheduled to November 11th.
Nothing from eBay today. No packages at all delivered today. I think I only have two things outstanding at the moment. One from eBay and one from another company. Haven't ordered anything from anyone either in a few days.
More of The Flash for my viewing pleasure. Assorted YouTube videos too. Tomorrow is LOL Cats day. A tradition now to read that and I always look forward to it.
Spent some time in the tent tonight. Probably need to air it out good soon. Just some unusual mechanical sounds tonight that were out of the ordinary. And then the normal sounds. Also heard air conditioners starting and stopping.
No lap cat yet. Maybe fozzy will come in for a bit. No incense today. I have been burning candles though.
Still have the yellow and white stripes in the back yard. AT&T haven't installed fiber optics there yet but I did see some trucks in the neighborhood so they must be getting closer.
Ah, there is good news tonight.
Checking to see if I have gotten paid yet. Nothing there. Never seems to be very consistent when I get paid. Varies a lot.
Eta is wondering around. Looks like it is going to pass over Cuba and then pass over the Keys before turning again to come ashore.
Didn't really do any house work or project work tonight. Might do a bit of project work tomorrow now that I have a few items that I needed.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
