Yes, a little rain today.
Oct. 28th, 2020 10:27 pmWe did get a light cold misting type of rain today. Not just a lot of rain but cold and just barely a drizzle. There was a high chance of rain today and I guess it did rain so the forecast was right. Going to be not quite as cold tomorrow and warm up Friday and for the weekend. Doesn't look like much of any chance for rain in the near future but I was saying the same thing about October. We did get some but not really a significant amount. Over all it was a fairly dry month. I know we got some decent rains though. Cold out tonight. My outdoor temperature gauge says 45°F. Finally did light my fire heater today. Didn't think the house would make it through the day without getting too cold. Tomorrow is forecast to be sunny so that should help to keep the house warm.
Today was a eBay day. I got two items delivered and placed an order for two more. I also got an order in from an outside company. Three whole deliveries today. Probably at least one tomorrow.
I got two junk calls today. Just kept a count of them and they were both ones that I have already gotten several times.
I watched the launch of the Electron rocket today. A smaller rocket than the Falcon 9 but just as exciting to watch and they do have a good media presentation of their launch. Good for advertising as they are a private company. They do make it look easy too. And a dependable rocket too. Looks like the last launch for October but November looks like a very active launch schedule.
And just like that tomorrow is going to be the 29th and two days closer to Halloween and the full moon.
Gold is trading below $1900 an ounce. Crude is down some but it looks like it recovered just a little today.
Did the truck start, run and drive today. Just do that every other day now. And no more idling. Just make my loops and stop. Probably need to put some air in the tires. Looking just a bit low. Not too worried about the wear and I am not diving very far.
No really project work today except I did do a bit of wood working today. Wasn't all that bad in the shop. Probably will do some more tomorrow if the shop doesn't turn cold.
Still adding items to my HEB delivery order.
No sounds of the night. Too cold to put up a tent and be outside.
Fozzy was the lap cat of the day. No incense though.
Did just a small amount of house work today. Cleaned a little in the bath room.
Watched more of The Flash tonight on NetFlix. That was my viewing pleasure along with my usual YouTube channels and watching the launch of the Electron.
Paid a bill today and switched it to paperless billing. I think I may still have a couple of bills still on paper but I think I will eventually change them all to paperless.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
