Today wasn't a rain day.
Oct. 19th, 2020 01:42 amToday was completely dry here which wasn't unexpected and a bit warmer than the normal. My air conditioner did come on today and has been running off and on all day. So it was a warm one. And bright and sunny. Tomorrow shows that the rain chance starts to increase about 9:00 am and stays elevated through about 4:00 pm. Then it is going to stay warmer through next Monday when the next change or rain gets here.
Didn't finish last night so I am just going to start this as a new entry for today. Actually got a decent amount of rain which pretty much came all at once. The last time I checked my rain gauge it had about 9 tenths of an inch of rain. Still raining just a little and I haven't checked it again. And once again not much in the way of a rain chance for the rest of October. Going to be October 20 in not much longer meaning October is just about two thirds done. Does seem to go from one day to the next. Still about a weeks worth of warm days ahead before it settles back to cooler temperatures during the day time.
I heard a lawn company today but it wasn't mine. Seems they alternate every other week. Didn't come today So I am guess they will come tomorrow to take care of my yard. If bad weather they have come on Wednesday.
No lap cat today. Or incense. Has been awhile since I have burned incense. Didn't do anything in the way of house work today. But it was an eBay day. Got two items in from eBay. Spoke to early about a lap cat. Fozzy is now here seemingly enjoying himself very much. Still have two outstanding item on eBay and one item from a non eBay source. And I just placed another order on eBay.
I was awake early enough yesterday to watch the launch of the Falcon 9 Star link Mission but forgot about it so I watched the replay of it. Coming up tomorrow is the potential launch of another Electron rocket at about 4:14 pm our time. Really want to see this one go.
Started working on another HEB delivery. Just going to add a few items a night or so as I think of what I need to get. Right now trying to think of those one off items I need to get to restock and not the things I almost always get. Will work on it for the next couple of nights.
Gold is just barely trading about $1900 an ounce. Crude is still about where it has been for the last several days. I did notice that one station I check has dropped its price by 4 cents and two others by two cents. Don't think it relates to crude price but more to a price war. All three station are located on corners across from each other.
No house work or project work today. Had to take up my tent because of the rain coming and the possibility that my lawn company was going to be here today. I will put it back up as soon as the lawn company is done. So nice to be in the fresh air and for the most part protected from the bugs.
